Hoe is je gitaar gestemd? Als ik m'n capo op de 2de fret zet dan klinken we niet hetzelfde.
@franskuijpersguitarlessons3 күн бұрын
Ik heb nog even gecheckt. Maar het klopt wel. De stemming is standaard: E-A-D-G-B-E. Kijk even of jou gitaar goed gestemd is. Ik hoop dat het je lukt. Succes. Groet Frans

Hi Aroy, have you looked at the slow played parts further in the video. They give a better vieuw on the picking and fretting. You'll find the Intro slow at 2.55, followed bij a Close up and the tab (played slow), and at 3.38 The Verse slow. Hope this gives you enough information to practice. Good luck. Greetings Frans

Thank you so much for making this lesson. It's been stuck in my head for a long time. And can you help me something? Can you figure it out what chords that Fred Hellerman is playing in Goodnight Irene video that posted by SnappHF chanel. Or it's the same chords in this lesson?
@franskuijpersguitarlessons16 күн бұрын
It looks as if the capo is on the 1st fret, still it matches with the 2nd fret in a standard tuning. The chord scheme he plays: Verse: E-E-B7-B7-B7-B7-E-E Chorus: E-E7-A-F#m-B7-B7-E-E Sometimes he frets the B7 as a A7 bar on the 2nd fret. Hope this answers your question. Good luck. Greetings Frans

Hi Frans, just bought the tab for this - really appreciate your work on this & other songs. If I could make a couple of requests or suggestions (I know you have a long list!) - I'd love a tab for Jake Xerxes Fussell's Jubilee, and also for Margaret Glaspy's Bathtub. I'm trying to get to a point where I can learn directly from performances but I'm not quite there yet, would be a big leg up!

Dude actually thank you so much. There's such a lack of material on the internet to learn these kinds of older folk arrangements, but I find loads of them on your channel and it's just absolutely awesome. Folk was always meant to be passed down and taught to others, but nowadays it's just not what people are interested in teaching I guess. Never stop spreading the knowledge of these tunes, they are so important :)
