This all sounds really good until you try to invest with SIC from Diaspora. Trying to buy one of their plots or joining the SIC for investment is a nightmare. You will be taken around a million rabbit holes by the sales rep. I have tried to buy one of the kitengela plot for a year and that did not work not because I did not have the interest or the money but the sales reps will give you such a hard time when you say you need to send a family member to go see the plots. Recently I decided to give it another try with their Konza plots and to this day I am still being taken around in circles. I finally have a sales rep who looks like she is genuine and want to help but internally looks like there are so many red tapes for her to jump to even take my family member to site to check them out for me. Why is it so hard for those of us in diaspora to smoothly invest with SIC? One frustrated potential investor.
