Just got this board used and it def likes point breaks and beach breaks. I was under the impression it was a mid length egg for mushy surf which it does fine in but it really shines in good surf.

I have seen a video of Ray Gleave riding an 11’3” swallowtail glider (12’?) with two standard size thruster fins carving and gliding a shoulder high wave really well. But you still need to be able to maintain control over the board. Finless is ver difficult to stand on.

Great guy ! Besides Jack Shipley , Roy Stamn & Tim McClaferty, they gave me a job glassing boards. The shapers were all fun guys to hang with at the South street shaping rooms, I think about about those times with the guys , miss them very much, Cowan, Akoni , Robbie , young Davey ,Russell, Cino, Scott ,Craig, Alan etc. ALOHA

Micro plastics, surfboards and manufacturing them creates tons of it, weather polyurethane/poly or eps/epoxy, maybe not so groovy, eh?
