The AI in this race sucks. If you dont run, they do in 1:38. I did 1:27, and they achieve 1:21. Magic.

I struggled a lot with this race for a few hours and then I turned on ASM in the assists menu … huge difference for me in acceleration and braking. Also, being patient so I didn’t nerf myself off the course trying to pass too quickly … basically I’d wait until I had straights to pass on to pass the lead 3 cars. Much easier and safer to pass all 3 down that huge back straight in one shot and take the lead before the end of the first lap. I feel your pain with this one. Good luck!
