Caterpillars are adorable and fascinating.🐛🦋♥️ I found a giant moth caterpillar cocoon attached to a leaf in my garden. The next day it fell down along with the leaf, so I have kept it safely with me. If I get a chance, I will record its pupation process in a better way.

bro- i even want to grown butterflies literally i am in love with them i am fascinated by their presence that's why... hopefully I can find some caterpillars during winter and one fortunate thing winter is soon coming in my country XD

Take it home give it a nice spot for its home make a container for it then decorate it then wait for it to turn into a butterfly

How cute! I believe, however, that this is a Queen butterfly, a related species that mimics the monarch to help ward off predators. The caterpillars also look very close to their monarch cousins (as this fifth-instar demonstrates), but the stripe patterns are different and the monarch caterpillar does not have the middle set of tentacles that the queen caterpillar bears (save for rare cases of genetic mutation) (And yes, they are technically tentacles rather than antennae. I don't remember why off the top of my head, though )
