These videos are giving me so much pleasure - I’m smiling with joy watching these guys. The gentlemen who (in the second video) sings with ( and impersonates) Tom on “Tenderness” - could you remind me of his name? He’s great! Thanks for sharing this.

The shorter gentleman in the middle is singing impressionist Bob Anderson, who does an amazing Tom Jones impression himself, among many others.

Thank you for posting. I'm an admin/owner for a Sir Tom Jones private fan group on facebook. Based on Tom's appearance, the date range looks to be around 1989/1990.

Thanks so much for posting. I was thinking that especially when 90 is on the very top of tape by itself. 2000 is listed on the spine.

Have to wonder what Tom was thinking as Pete looked so much like early 70s Elvis. If date is correct 8-12 it was just 4 days from the Aug 16th!

I’ve seen videos of Tom with the real Elvis
@HercGem3 ай бұрын
@@debbiesawaya4391 Those were probably of Elvis doing his karate on stage during Tom’s show. They never sang on stage together, only after the show in Elvis’ suite.

Such a great way to honor Liberace's memory and legacy by keeping this place preserved. I know he still has many many fans (and will have many new fans in the future). Just remember folks, you can't take any of it with you! RIP Liberace & May your memory be honored for all of time. God rest.

I spent New Years Day 1981 in that home as Lee's guest along with my cast members in The Young Americans. We performed with him for 2 months at the Las Vegas Hilton. He invited us to have pizza at his place.

For some, this is a big thing. I remember the Gomer Pyle episode, Lies, Lies, Lies, where Gomer is on one of those Hollywood tour buses, and the elderly lady pass Liberace's and the woman starts telling Gomer about his piano shaped pool, other points of the Liberace's property that resembled his piano. And the point is there were those who found it incredibly interesting to have done so. They actually did these things back in the days. Those trusting days are long gone now, with celebrities being shot in their home, or someone trespassing on their lawn trying to get a picture that will make the headline of some sleazy tabloid. You know they still exist, and you can only shake your head at them like you've been doing for decades. Those female cashiers are always asking me what I'm laughing at when I start checking out at the grocery store. I don't know what was funnier, the Sunday comics, or the sleazy tabloids.

I sure hope that when he was alive, he had good security, I mean I remember back in the 1950's when he was on tv, Liberace's neighbors were complaining about fans driving up to his house and climbing over the fence at Christmas time to see inside.

I remember Mimi and Grandpa watching his show in the evenings at the farm. As children we thought it was boring. We wanted Lassie or even Perry Mason which required silence by Grandpas decree. If he shushed you or tapped his glass you better quiet 😮.
