Great video. We have the XXL and it has really changed our lives. My wife has just been overseas for 3 weeks on business and I'm a very busy dad with a 10 and 12yo. Have an European model WT1 that needs a new drain pump. Know how to access the pump? Only one of the two pumps appears operating. No front lower kick panel, so not sure how to remove front panel.

Why do you all say to use "tap water"? That is what the repair guy says causes mineral buildup and we should use distilled water so less descaling is required. We have a newer Samsung oven with steam function, with a metal reservoir which you call a jug, I think? I fill it prior to steaming. Where does the water go after steam function is complete? My reservoir is usually empty after that. Manual says after descale it has to be drained with oven mitts because it's hot? Water is never hot and never empty. Even the repair guy can't explain much about the oven's steam function. It seems to be a mystery. Please educate me. I'm desperate to figure this out. I use it to steam bake artisan bread and it needs to work.

Hi - my Miele now shows Drain error at the end of the washing cycle and does not drain. I have emptied the drain filter and still not working. could this be due to drain pump need replacing or something. please help.

As some others have said, if you check everything and still getting a drainage error, try tipping the machine forward 45 degrees for 15 mins to clear the water out of the sump under the machine. In addition, if the fault comes back, get the machine away from the wall and check for blockages in the drainage hose, as sometimes bits of fluff and hair seem to get past the filters in the machine and clump around the hose. That sorted it for me. Good luck everyone.

not enough info and the service of a plumber is too expensive. Look for other videos which demonstrate how to unclog drain hoses.

Also with menu cooking I know the oven makes a tone to alert you to the next step. Will it also ping a phone or smart device in case you leave the room?

Is there a way to override all of the functions? What if I just want to turn on the oven to 350 and bake. Can I do that or do I have to go through all the steps to select, convection bake, casserole, etc?
