Yes, on both sides. It spent a winter in the NE, so I'm guessing that's what caused it.

I'm 45 yrs old, and when I was about 7 yrs old, I went with my stepmother and her mom to Biltmore. I remember feeling so creeped out when we stepped up to see inside this pool room. It was suffocating and scary as a 7 yr old little girl, and I believe even my stepmother and her mom were creeped out looking into the room. The only other room that came close to the creepiness of the pool room, was the entertainment area where the bowling alley was, but even it wasnt quite as bad as the pool area. That bad feeling of the pool room stayed with me all these decades later.

I just bought this today and began wearing it to form to fit. I've read the comments here and I can't see this thing staying in place all night? I do not sleep with my teeth together at all times, and I foresee it falling out or choking to death on it. If it was strapped to my teeth front and back I could see it working, but the pads just sit between molars and are expected to stay in place? It's not uncomfortable, but I'm leery of this design. I'll update my post here after trying to sleep with it...
@LuckyVagabond20 күн бұрын
You won't choke on it. Lately I have greatly reduced my clenching and improved my sleep a quality a ton by taking a magnesium supplement about an hour before bed. I recommend the following supplement: amzn.to/3NEG5F1 Take two before bed and you'll be amazed at how it relaxes your jaw.

What oil do you use in your pilot and what are your thoughts on oil weight? I know it says 5w20 in manual, but I've read that in other countries they list 5w30. I heard honda changed it to slightly increase fuel economy.
@LuckyVagabond27 күн бұрын
Yes, that's right. In other countries it's 5w30, but you can also use 10w30. Heck, you could also use 0w20 if on hand. I'm currently using Mobil 1 0w40 that I picked up on clearance from Walmart for $10 per 12 quart box.
@JohnnyBoy91926 күн бұрын
@@LuckyVagabondGotcha, thanks. I will probably stick to 5w30 as I think it will lubricate better than 5w20. Feel like alot of these newer cars are being pushed to use thinner oils at the cost of longevity from the engine.

Was the big pipe at the shallow end used for filling this pool? Must've had one big ass pump to drain that pool.

Yes, and a big drain. They didn't use chemicals to keep the pool water clean, so it had to be drained and refilled regularly.

I use it in my 2008 Honda Pilot that I regularly tow with. Works fine, But I noticed that the Valvoline fluid does get dark faster than the original DW-1 fluid. Basically, keep an eye on the color. Valvoline maxlife is cheap enough to replace it more often than the DW-1. I do it about every 25,000-30,000 miles snice I cant replace the filter (it is between the transmission and the engine in my model) and I tow with it.
@LuckyVagabond26 күн бұрын
Great info man. I'm changing the fluid at least every 30K miles, but I will do it sooner if the flood starts getting dark.

The trade-off for doing this is going to be much greater accumulation of moisture inside the tent and on all its contents, because this will curtail much needed ventilation. Wet is cold. Much better to improve the warmth of sleeping equipment with layers of ground padding and coverings, and let the moving air keep you more dry.
@LuckyVagabondАй бұрын
Very true, but in a pinch this helped us stay warm. Thanks for the comment.
