One of the actors, and I can’t remember which one now, talked about having techniques he uses to come out of an intimate scene, or a highly emotional scene for his character, and shake that off, separate himself from the other actor/s in the scene, and resettle into a calm mood just as himself. He brought up shooting the confrontation scene in RW&RB and not knowing they were going to continue it after lunch, because he knew other scenes were planned to be shot that day. So he completely came down and settled out of the confrontation scene to have lunch, only to be surprised by being thrown right back into that high stakes confrontation, the most emotionally charged and emotionally intimate scene of the movie, from a place of nothing within himself.
