Everyone mentions the claws, but what gets me about the 70's scene is that he forgets he can't just tank hits anymore. While his healing factor might be slightly faster now without the adamantium poisioning, the bullets sink in and have stopping power. With the adamantium skeleton they would be stopped and he can tank hits. I love the contrast. He's naturally meant to be quick and nimble, can be staggered when hit. This encourages smarter and quicker thinking. Meanwhile with adamantium he can tank hits and his claws are more effective, but don't make him as agile anymore, and probably heal slower.

the scene was from “The Wolverine (2013)”, his skeleton was still very much Adamantium, he just regrew his old bone claws in the final battle against the Japanese Optimus Prime because of pure masculine rage lol

I like the small detail that it seems like getting shot in this body hurts a lot more and he's not quite used to it. With his bones coated in adamantium, the bullets just smush out or deflect off, but when it's just bone? The bullets are ripping through, crushing and shattering bone, and it's a feeling Logan hasn't felt in a long time so it takes him a moment to recover after basically going "Oh right, that REALLY f*cking hurts!"

True, but his healing factor is MUCH more powerful without the adamantium. The pain from the bullets is sharper and more intense in the short-term, but goes away quicker than with the adamantium. It sort of evens out in the end.

For those who keep asking how magneto was able to stop Logan. Logan only lost his metal claws by silver samurai when he cut them off with a hot adamantium sword but his entire body is still coated with adamantium in all his bones so magneto can still use his powers on him.

I was so confused there for a second wondering how Magneto could hold him back then realised that was from The Wolverine so he had adamantium in his skeleton still. I can’t remember if he got adamantium back on his claws in Days of Future Past though, before he time travelled.

His admantium claws were sliced off, but the rest of his skeleton is still fully covered in admantium. Magneto just manipulated what was still there.
