Have had this thing in my crossover truck bed toolbox for a few years now. It's sat there through -40 degree weather etc and still works when I need it too. It may not be the fastest but it's durable; that and I think i got it on sale for 19 bucks back in the day so no complaints here.

Any tire inflator you plan to keep in the car must have a car lighter plug and work off a car battery just in case. Otherwise its battery will discharge overtime which will leave you with a non-working tool when you need it the most simply because you forgot to charge it and you will.

You could still bring it back to HOME DEPOT and Ryobi are both very good at taking things back and all you have to say is it just was something I didn’t like for another comment they make an 18 V unit that will blow up the tire but even that small one will take about five minutes they make a bigger one that will blow up that tire in about a minute and 30 seconds of course they don’t have one that will match that 30 seconds you did but you want something small enough to put in your car they make an 18 V one that is not that much bigger than the one that you bought about maybe twice the size but the big difference is it does take the 18 V battery anyways if you’re not happy with it you should bring it back I purchased one myself I wanted something really small to pump up a little teeny tire the tire only goes to 26 pounds It pumps the tire up in about 22 seconds thank you for your video it was a very good video

Thank you! Yes, I returned it. I bought a different style for my 4-wheeled vehicles... I'd planned to keep the Ryobi on on the motorcycle.

It was legit a pain in the @*# to put together. I am a whiz at IKEA furniture assembly so I mostly relied on the pictures. However, once assembled, I really do like it. It is VERY sturdy and solid. A drawback for me is the weight. I have to load this thing in the back of a minivan and it is very heavy. I plan to use it for craft shows. I can load my tote boxes on the dolly, wheel everything in, then pop it into table mode and cover with a cloth for displaying merchandise.

Yeah, it's not super light, but it is super sturdy. Sort of like motorcycle tires, I guess - do you want longevity, or do you want grip? Can't have both! :)

No real update - it seems to be working as intended now. Somehow, the internal visor tightened itself up. Not sure how or why. I wore it at a track day with the Osmo Action attached, and it worked great!

haha yes, you'd think that, but if you put it the other way, then the accessories hang upside down... but I finally figured it out. It's not designed to hold the weight of the vacuum, so if you leave the vacuum standing up on the floor, it's only meant to stabilize it. Dumb design IMO!

I went for a used ‘11 Ranger instead of one of the newer jobs. It had 102k on it, I just got it a couple months ago, it was in mint condition with all records and rust-free, 9200 bucks, I can work on it, it’s a reliable 4.0 Engine, and I’m super-happy not to deal with all the complicated crap on the newer Ford pickups (and save many tens of thousands of dollars)! Just my two cents.

Your review is pretty damn spot-on. It should have more views. True about the vibration and the screws, thanks for the blue Loctite solution. I actually had to write and call Scorpion because one of the screws popped out. They will replace them, but you have to be super-insistent and specific and on top of them, because their customer service operation apparently just had a major revamp and they’re extremely understaffed. I love the drop-down sun visor, I did not have the problem of it drooping down, but I’m 80% on pavement. The ECE 2206 is a big deal, you should look into it. If you ever fall on your head, you’ll be *very* glad for this updated standard over the 950’s 2205. See FortNine. I got the white Kryptek version, I love everything about it. I agree that the red chin bar lock is a POS. Getting a pinlock & pinlock shield adds another 70 or so bucks 😡 And they seem to be out of stock everywhere. Do you have a tip for me as far as where you got them and how much you paid?

Did you have any issues with the drivers side pipe coming to close to the brake line? Did you zip tie the brake line away from the pipe or use some type of heat wrap or just left it be? My brake line is about an inch from the pipe, wondering if that’s normal and ok. Thanks

On Ebay there is a company in Utah that sells the fuses economically. I keep several with each inflator. Remember - if you hook up to a flat tire AND THEN turn on , the initial strain can blow the fuse.

who needs to inflate a car tire from 0 psi to 32? The only time that happens is if you have a PUNCTURE and it needs to be patched up anyways. This looks like it's great for top-offs of car tires as it says on the package....like adding an extra PSI or two to the tire during the winter months.

It's not always an instant deflate puncture. Sometimes there's a leak that takes several hours to impart a flat and you don't see it until you get off work and are in a grumpy mood already (unless you are a machoistic and love your job). Filling up to get to a tire repair saves a ton of money rather than calling for mobile repair, if it is available where the flat occurs. Many new cars do not come with a spare, so there is no swapping the tire yourself, if you possess the skill. A tire inflator is something everyone should have in their car and only a FOOL would think otherwise (I can use all caps just like you, ain't I special), just not this gimmick device. The newer adverts remove cars completely from this things capabilities.

My car has 9.5 inch x 19 tyres on the rear I took the valve out and completely deflated the tyre. I inflated the tyre back up to 35 psi with my 4v Ryobi and still had power left. I WILL NOT be returning mine.

This one has a brushed motor and the one that's like 30-50$ more has a brushless motor which is supposed to give it a little more efficient battery time and power ...that's the difference in price ....I purchased this model though

This is an absolute piece of 5h!t. It cannot inflate a 700c x 28 tyre. A cheap chinese inflator works better on my TT bike. I've been inflating tyres for years and definitely NOT going away from manual pumps. This was a HUGE waste of money.
