This worked really well! I’m doing an assignment in psychology next week where we’re to carry around an egg and pretend it’s our child for a week. For the developmental unit. But either way, there’s extra credit for the best carrier and the best decoration, and I think I’ve got a chance now for the best carrier! :D The tutorial was good, and I followed it easily enough. I have a suggestion for a tiny improvement on PATTERN 1 when closing the round: For beginners, they could add 2 more chains before slip stitching into the empty V space, and try to keep that slst central. For slightly more advanced, i think it's better to slst into the SIDE of chain 3 and 4, then slst once into the empty V space to start the new round Both options give more space for those final 2 DC of the next round (PATTERN 2), the second option makes the transition near invisible

Thanks for the pattern, but I don't understand the pattern for round 2. Towards the end after the last 10 dc there is a 3 sc Inc. I followed the pattern to the T ,but I don't have those 3 extra stitches 🤷‍♀️

Being on a budget I can't afford to buy the rings to made a wreath ornament. Thanks for showing me a better/more economy way to accomplish it. After making the wreath, one can cut out a child or some meaningful picture and glue in the back. It would be an inexpensive way to make a joyous Xmas wreath picture fame gift for family and friends that will be treasured... I appreciate you sharing your talent with us crocheters!
