What an incredible life story and interesting interview. I wish I could talk to him in person for days more. We had the pleasure to bump into each other by accident here in Rimini in a Mac Store and started chatting. It was immediately special. Hoping to be able to meet each other again in the future. Thank you Sabine for this amazing interview. Love, Sandra Holtzappel ❤

Maren was one of my idols at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague when I was still a younger student. I admired her beauty, her concentration, her strong technique. Later in life we met again in the White Cloud Studio in Amsterdam. To this day me and my husband Giuseppe still talk about that experience with our students whom we are also introducing to Gyrotonics. What a special story to listen to...Thank you for sharing her story with us Sabine and thank you Maren for continuing to inspire. With love, Sandra Holtzappel 😘

Ezra Pound said that literature is news that stays news. While he was referencing the written word, this interview has a literary quality in the same way. This video rewards repeat visits. Thank you to everyone involved.

So amazing hearing your story. When I was a young dancer in NJ one of my ballet teachers would talk about you a lot. She eventually brought me and another dancer into the city to take class with Madame Darvash. You were the most incredible dancer, mind blowing, absolutely gorgeous. I was 13 at that time, and I still remember that studio with the pillars, And you dancing

Dance should always include the "adventure", the humor, the passion and of course the talent and Richard, is a forever pioneer in modern dance, in ballet and in life. A toast to a great friend and human being! So happy to see you are still sharing your wisdom to the dancers today!

Thank you dear Luc!It is so wonderful to witness people's stories ...It's like discovering treasures, it is so easy to feel impressed and so far away from someone who is on stage .Yet we all have that very magical thing in common : we are all HUMANS...And THAT's what makes every single person I interview so fascinating to listen to...Thank you for being my "first one", and thank you for your support always!!!!
