Awesome video! Some further questions: - antilock brakes? More info about regen braking and how it integrates to the standard hydraulic disc setup? - no airbags obviously yeah? I also don’t see a turn signal stalk? - not much mention on the unibody mods to fit the battery and rear drive set up. Very clean and intelligent build!!!

This is the future. I remember thinking about what the future would look like 10 years ago for the automotive industry. It is here, and Ryan absolutely did an impeccable job. He captured the idea that this is very much possible to do and an alternative to other ICE swaps. What an awesome build. I look forward to seeing more EV "swaps" in other golden era Hondas. This truly sets the bar, awesome job!

...."crisp, clean, timeless JDM." Well said. The style embodies a Honda tuner car. I'm not sure it's the heaviest EK though! I've seen some old school dB drag racers with some serious beef. 😂 It sounds like a riot to drive! So much capability. Japanese girl reverse warning 100%

@BigMikeEdition I don't have any exact numbers but with massive sub woofers, thick heavy mdf boxes, plus the batteries and amps, I'd guess around 4500ish. Maybe more?

Cool find. Fun fact: The Toyota Sera is the reason behind why Mclaren doors are the way they are, Oh and also why the Mclaren Senna windows are half windows. I apologize, Big Mike... I didn't watch your video from the beginning before posting my "fun fact" but very cool you knew/revealed the inspiration story behind the Sera/ Mclaren, not many car enthusiasts let alone US car enthusiasts know that back story (Sera/Mclaren dihedral doors)., also very cool to know/see there's a toyota sera on US soil. Hope I get to finally see the Sera in the US in person.

What an amazing and thoughtful way to show their appreciation for your contribution to the automotive world and world in general. What is the process they did for the art? Is it hand painted or some kind of mixed media?
@BigMikeEdition6 ай бұрын
Right! Amazing and thoughtful, the perfect words to describe what he did. The process was straight up hand painted. He set me some still photos of the artist there in his shop with an easel and a photograph on the canvas as he hand painted it. Incredible.
