Taxes ruin men into a sorrowful state similar to this.

This scene is the pinnacle of just how someone who constantly battles mental illness gets so exhausted from doing so, and then gets wrapped up in shit he did not want to be apart of. I miss you Ben

The brief glimpses of clarity coupled with the overwhelming sense of insanity really sold this idea of a man about to collapse under the weight of reality. Really solid delivery of his lines, phenomenal acting.

Genius writing! Such a great vehicle (no pun intended) for the character to express himself.

I have never watched this show. I saw a clip and this popped up. My God how I love good acting. I don’t know a thing about the character but this made me cry

I recongnized Tom's phenominal acting skills on Guiding Light as the Character jonathon Randolph. He Blew my mind and put life into a characer like nothing I ever saw before. Y'all go back and look up " Jonathon on Guiding Light on YT and you will see. Snubbed at the Emmy's proves that the Emmys are nothing but a farce!!!!!! Love you Tom Pelphrey!!🤩❤

This mini-series stole too much of our time. The story could've been told in 1/3 the episodes, like Breaking Bad. All those side storied are just for more airtime and more commercials. Edit; wording

The fact that Pelphrey did not get nominated for an Emmy is a crime. That scene alone was deserving of a nomination.

He should've won a fucking award. In my opinion, he deserved it more than even Ruth. In Season 3, he is fucking AWESOME, as awesome as I've ever seen.

Ben was the only character in the show that was legally insane. But paradoxically also the only character had completely sane reactions to the fu*ked up stuff that the Byrde family goes through or has done.

I don't get the reason why they didn't reveal the cab driver face. I thought it was gonna be a twist like it's Helen's driver or something. Or the driver was gonna call 911. I find it unnecessary hiding the face till the end when it was not supposed to be a twist.

Its hard not to compare 'Ozark' with 'Breaking Bad', not just in themes, but in all the important factors, from the writing, to the acting to the production value, it's of the same high quality.

To reflect on his 1st appearance vs his last appearance is an extremely dramatic difference. What an amazing actor!!! This show has had such great performances!!! Everyone has clicked to make this story an amazing show!!! Binge watched it over 3 days. Can't wait to see season 4!!!

The truly scary part isn't that he has these thoughts or struggles to say what he has in his head. It is the way he goes back to "normal" at the end of the clip. Making it unclear which part of him was him in control and which part was him losing it.

I really thought the cab driver was going to be revealed as Navarro's hitman.
