10:50... What is the point of rehabilitating someone on death row? And what good is selling the paintings? Don't taxes cover his room and board in prison?

So my comment is about the quality of the video. The audio was very poor and the visual was also pretty.Degraded. I do enjoy my true crime. And I thought the narrator's voice was quite interesting and relaxing, but he wasn't really much in the documentary. It was mostly the court case, and if it was only going to be the court case, is it possible? They can clean up the audio a little bit more so you can listen to it

This guy is very creepy. he is so casual, almost charming in his way, seeing nothing wrong with stealing people's animals, equipment, livelihoods really, hurting animals...And he blames the farmers for not being better at protecting themselves from professional thieves, or whatever he called himself. He feels so justified. He is dead now right? This is an old time recording. Good. I wonder if his folks were ashamed or taught him to be this way.

This is the most infuriating trial I've ever heard The family, private investigator, the defense psychiatrist and that monster are all absolutely infuriating. 54:50 "Robert Bardo is also a victim" quote by defense attorney His family considered it normal to fly out to la to go see celebrities?! The P.I. thought it was normal to request an actress' address?! Psychologist speaks as if the monste was entitled to this woman. Its bizarre 49:00 the doctor states Rebecca was annoyed from her shower being interrupted as if being STALKED is not a legitimate reason to be annoyed.

Betty clearly was very angry at Dan and was going to make his life a living hell. As she told the house keeper. But she damaged her kids in the process. Very bitter she was, she's the type of person that is not going to allow a man to make her look the fool. It bothered her so much that she murdered Dan and Linda. She made it her life after Dan left her to get back at him anyway she could, and she used the kids in the process as well to do that. No man is worth spending the rest of your life in prison. She should have just moved on in life. I understand her being upset, but before Dan even left her, she acted crazy towards him. He was definitely in the wrong with what he did. But killing 2 people is never OK. Of course it hurts when your husband has an affair and leaves. Of course it does. But what Betty did was so wrong and she deserves to be where she is. It was premeditated. She was a very angry bitter woman and Dan was going to pay. She spoke of it so many times to people. Sad Story. But ladies no man is ever worth going crazy over and then ending your life as well by sitting in prison for the rest of your life. And leaving your kids pretty much orphaned. Very Sad. 😢

Thanks for the upload! I’m late to the show but better late than never 👍🏿 Aileen’s story is one worthy of being heard. She had an absolutely horrific life full of abuse starting at a very young age. The fact she survived to see her 30s is mind boggling in itself. I hate what she did but my heart absolutely breaks for her. It always has. I wish she could see all the understanding and empathy she has now. It might of mended that brokenness in her a little bit.

She lived that lifestyle for many many years. Of course, her story is sad.She grew up rough , most of us did. Doesn't give us the right just to start killing people. If it was really a bad profession for her She would have gotten out. I believe she just wanted to be loved, and when she found Tyra. She finally felt love and she wasn't gonna let that go at any price. Unfortunately , it was the men who paid the price. RIP to everyone

It's a plausible explanation that she was nude , otherwise her clothes would have been completely splattered with blood , they were going to be cut out of the will , Andrew Borden had sold a farm just before that to a relative of Abby's in Swansea mass , so they had to act quickly , as far as the sexual component, to axe someone to death takes a lot of rage , most women use poison , so their may be something to it !

While it does not forgive what she did I truly don’t think Lee had a shot. She clearly had mental health issues and that mixed with a horribly abusive upbringing sealed her fate. Maybe if she had had some kind of nurturing parent she could have gotten the help she needed but she was literally left to the wolves

Of course her mistake was making that pr*ck her life, but you'd have to be a cold hearted bast#rd to not have empathy for this woman. Fining her when she swore, the new wife being so cruel, the sense of loss losing custody of her kids. Common, that's tough ffs. I do believe he softened a little towards the end, but the new young wife made it impossible for Betty to move on. At the end of the day, it's just bloody sad as hell, especially for the kids. 😢

18:22 This woman literally said on a documentary before she was killed that if she was ever found dead to know she didn’t do it and the Lebanon’s got her. She said it right before she died and they ruled that poor woman’s death a suicide. The police back then really were wildly corrupt

I believe her testimony is totally credible. It must be the 'ol, "reasonable doubt." There is a flicker of a chance that he IS telling the truth, albeit a small flicker. She, on the other hand, is intelligent and beautiful - gorgeous! He must be some kind of idiot to treat her so badly when he should have been trying to date her! Maybe he knew that she is a bit above him; he would never get another chance to touch her; he felt entitled to have her at all costs. Okay. I get it. Mr. Smith needs prayers. But Kennedys' as a group have made a mistake. I believe, in supporting him, they have in effect sided against this beautiful, and classy woman; right up there with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. I fear their total reputation is hereby squashed. (Our justice system, however, really needs a revamp or modernization when it comes to rape; it should be graded by degree from 1-20 or something. It is no longer a one-size fits-all-type of crime here in the USA.)
