With an empty seafront and empty beach, on what appears to be a very cold day, that is a very optimistic ice cream van man. 2.-05 😃

I think that some commentary would have been more enjoyable than just an odd title inserted for instance notice the lengthwise stone down the lane to the old granary to allow easier passage for carts in and out,(just a suggestion) I did like the river views and reflections you managed to capture, you must have been there at just the right time, but nice one so thank you👍👍👍

My mother was in the crowd of people singing "God bless the Prince of Wales" on the opening of the new bridge. Later she would bring us for summer holidays and we would walk the walls and walk along the cliffs to Cocklawburn and take the bus to Kelso or Spittal or walk to the chain bridge (not all the way). Once we even stayed in the Lion's Hotel. Played mini golf. Sometime 'Johnny's Bingo'. It was better back then.

I hate to be negative and I have put a like on this video, but, really, you could easily have left out the bland causeway footage, I have done the bus driving in the past and that part is for the most part featureless. Was this filmed a long time ago with an ancient camera as the clarity was poor. Holy Island on a sunny day in the village is quite nice especially the Priory and Castle. Maybe a walk around would have been better. Sorry this comment is too long but I feel is constructive 🚘🚘🚘

Thanks for the comments yes I'm only playing about, the camera is a campark action camera mounted on a suction holder on the bonnet. Please remember I'm only doing this for fun and like in said in the Facebook link don't expect professional footage, I do agree however about walking round the Island watch this space and hopefully the next one will be better, cheers.

I can’t tell you how many times I have been along Pier Road in my life and seen the tide out so far and the rocks and seaweed, across to Spittal point and the chimney which was part of the old town gas works which we went to see as children, wouldn’t happen now!!! 👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰

Some times in life folks can get a unstated weird ideas ...as I have had about the quality and beauty of day light around the coastal towns of the Berwickshire coast and Northward. I never mentioned this idea...perception for many many decades. I live in Yorkshire now and on occasion drive up the East coast on business....and in the region around around Alnwick I notice a certain quality to the daylight... a kind of beauty ...it must be the latitude ...which might sound crazy...but a couple of years ago listening to a notary poet on radio 4..she expressed exactly what I have relaid ..the exact sentiment...expressed in wonderful poetry .I’d surmise we all want such beauty in our life 🙏🙏🏿👍

Hi Maverick ...your channel is very nostalgic for me.I was born in Berwick and lived there until I was 13. My folks started of in the Anchorage 35 Woolmarket before moving around. We eventually bought the old railway House at the rail crossing in Spittal...it had formerly been owed by my Grandad.. One of best days of my life was arriving with my Dad on a bright morning after the grass had been cut at the Magdalene fields golf course, I was 4 and the world somehow was filled with such beauty ..I will never forget that morning. So thanks for reminding me.🙏🙏🏿👏👏🦄👍🎩
