It's great to be able to discover more Kinks songs. Grew up in a two-radio station market and there's so much that just didn't get playtime. At the dear old age of 67 I'm starting top realize just how great the Kinks were. Thanks for posting this!

Now that President Trump will assume his rightful place in the W.H., sanity will be restored. Inflation will go down along with gas and energy prices. Food prices will come down. The U.S. will be respected again. Peace again will break out. No more lies and corruption like the Obiden admin. The American people have spoken. Economic growth will once again be normal.

75 year male here. Why do I get goose bumps when I hear songs from that era ? Serving in the military during that time. Takes me back to awesome camaraderie times. Will never be the same. Peace to every one.

I remember reading Ray Davies ‘s bio and he said the original title of this song was “Liverpool Sunset” I’m glad he changed it. I also remember going to see the Kinks with my boyfriend (late husband) in Manchester, oh my goodness Ray and Dave came to blows on the stage😂 one of the other band members split the up, they carried on as if nothing happened😂. It was a great gig.

I recently saw a video of The Dave Matthews Band covering this. I was skeptical but they did it justice. Two important things in this song I feel are obviously the drums and the keyboard. The nailed it. Carter Beauford is extremely underrated imo

No pude evitar indignarme (y disculpen si exagero) cuando vi en la entrada de un estadio a Stevie Winwood tocando, mientras la gente que iba a ver ese juego llamado "americano", en el súper bowl, o algo así, pasaba apenas volteando a verlo. Recuerdo que en el medio tiempo iba a presentarse The Who. Para mí pudieron estar al revés sin ningún problema. Adentro Stevie Winwood. El niño prodigio del Rock!❤
