I remember it was 1965 and my family moved to Mt. Washington, PGH. Pa., where and when I heard "This Diamond Ring" I was a fan of Gary Lewis and The Playboys ever since, I didn't realize till I came to this site that they recorded a Ton of songs! Thanks for posting!

My first party that I attended love this song, I remember my barkadas like me to dance but I didn’t cuz I’m nervous to dance , bye bye dance,, haha im 71 now a days, still all memories,n I’m young when my partner left me n now no more,, all we’re memories,,

I can surmise majority of the comments are Filipinos who must be my age of 77. Gary Lewis and the Playboys were a very big favorite in the Philippines during the 60's. Great band and music.

Yeah Gary sounds good. His voice is unmistakable. I've seen him live many times & he sounds just like the records. In fact, he even sounds better with age.
