i got a 16 second video clip at 9MBps, based on this video that should be 144MB. Becuase 9x16=144 which is insane and incorrect as the video is only 17MB big

Is that also available as normal video? I definitely hate those shorts (generally, not specifically yours). Mostly because they are played permanently if the computer or "smart"device is unattended and it's not possible to change that. 🤔

Aperture is backwards on the drawing. Going from f/22 to f/2 you get more light and LESS depth of field. If you want to keep the More and More phrasing, you could say "More light and More subject isolation" instead. (Also, technically it is grain with film and noise with digital sensors but that's, perhaps, a bit pedantic) Great memory cards, though. I love my Cobalt CFexpress Type B.

Is there a reason this SLC / TLC info is pretty much never mentioned in product details for cards? Especially since SLC seems like the biggest selling point of Cobalts and helps explain the higher price. I only learned that Cobalt cards were SLC because of some fine print in the press release of the newer 1.3TB cards and I already owned a few of the previous Cobalts.

Hi, Refresh Pro is definitely good but it has a problem that needs to be fixed. As your website says regarding maintenance of memory cards that card must be SAFELY EJECTED from the device while using in computer, but after using Refresh Pro for Health & Sanitize purpose, the card cannot be safely ejected from the computer as every time I click to eject safely, the message pops up in window- Your card is being used...." the yellow led keeps lighted on and the card has to be taken out although the yellow leight remained on. So I am scared to use your Refresh Pro until ProGrade updates and fixes this issue.

With my Fujifilm I can set 6K 422 All-i h.265 codec with a maximum of 360 Mbit/sec. Thats the max you can set. 360 mbit are 45 MB. So a V60 is enough. But I tested with a Sandisk Extreme V30 and there were no problems. The V30 certification is not the limit, but the guaranteed speed per second.

My experience with digital pro has been a nightmare !!! Ordered two cards and they arrived in packaging that was open and had car tires across it. One card fine the other useless. I contacted dp with images of the package and explained my predicament. They told me to return the card and they would replace which I did. That was over a month ago, no one has returned my numerous emails or phone calls, I can't even get past the voice mail. Buyer beware !!!!!!!

Why does my ProGrade reader not autoplay when I put a card into it like other readers do on my Windows desktop PC? In "Settings" I have the "Autoplay" option on and "Memory Card" set to "Open folder to view files (File Explorer). But nothing happens when I insert a card.

Hi John, I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing issues using the "Autoplay" functionality on your Windows device using our reader. We have not heard of other customers experiencing the same issue that you are experiencing. Our engineers have tested a few different readers in our office and cannot duplicate the issue. The settings we are using are "Open folder to view files (File Explorer) selected in "Removable drive" and "Open folder to view files (File Explorer) selected in "Memory card". You can try to restart your computer and see if that resolves the issue. If you are still experiencing this issue, please contact Support at [email protected]

Should I be worried about the heat that's generated while the card is in the reader? I left my CFex card in the reader overnight and it was still very warm, even though no data was being transferred.

This is a robbery! I bought the micro sd memory and it turns out that if your device is not "compatible" with the card slots, the micro sd will never work at its full speed. It will be an ordinary card like any other. Also recently I started having problems with this card and I downloaded the Refresh Pro app to fix it. I have had another disappointment, if you do not have the Prograde Card Reader, you will never be able to repair it. I feel cheated, I do not recommend it at all.

Hi Angel, Sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. What device are you shooting with? Any device that only has a UHS-I slot will not be able to take advantage of UHS-II card speeds. However, if you are using a ProGrade Digital reader, your download speed output will be at UHS-II speed. In order to achieve what Refresh Pro can do, the technology had to be built into the software and the ProGrade Digital cards and readers. Please contact support@progradedigital so that we can help you with the problem you are experiencing with your card.

Hi, what kind of Nauticam housing are you using for a 12K Black Magic camera? I cannot find it on the Nauticam webside, only for the 6K model.

Thanks for this, Vance & ProGrade. I just got the 12K camera from BlackMagic and an Anglelbird 1TB CFast (another Aussie brand but I support you all). Can you please tell if you used dual cards in each camera, recording to both, or just one. Also what your chosen compression ratio for BRAW was? Thank you!
