If you really cant get it free you need to hit the gym or maybe torch it and work it back and forth to free up any rust and what not then take it out. You can also cut it just past the threads and then cut the inside of the pipe just before you knick the tee and then fold the nipple in with a hammer and cold chisel and then remove it

The problem is you spray a toxic penetrating oil into your water system. And penetrating oils also destroy rubber seals so now when you sent that poison through your water system youre harming yourself and your plumbing system taking jobs like Changing a simple shower core to a whole valve replacement because the wd will weld the plastic and rubber core the shower body.

if that is a potable water source ... congratulations you just contaminated the entire water supply and the only way to fix it it to remove all of the plumbing from that main valve into the structure ... yep about a $2500 mistake way to go

What will work is WD-40 PENETRATING OIL 🛢 it is specifically formulated to BREAK DOWN RUST.... it must be left for a few minutes TO PENETRATE.... works every time.....

Yea, I was afraid something else would break if it was took thick and would not budge. Had really nothing else readily available, but heard that In certain cases WD 40 could work. Gave it a try, and got lucky.

Standard WD40 is a water displacement oil.... what will work is WD40 PENETRATING OIL 🛢.... works every time.... let it penetrate for a few minutes.... it breaks down RUST....
