I like that you remove the middle treble on that twitch bait. I suppose it makes it easier to unhook from both the fish and the net.
@SlimeSlayOutdoors17 күн бұрын
@@adventures8977 that's a big reason is for fish safety. Also I upgrade hooks a bit and helps with buoyancy for me since I am working such shallow cover. Appreciate you watching!!!

Why are you bump boarding small fish. It removes their slim and puts the fish in danger of infection.

Intentionally targeting Muskies with light tackle makes for far longer than normal fights and far more stress on the fish. If that is the case, please think of the fish and how fragile a Musky fishery can be and use appropriate tackle for Musky fishing.

Was not trying to target was going for pike and bass unfortunately musky ate.

Good video, thanks for showing the police check. I had my first check a couple of years ago on our home lake in MN. The conservation officer was on a jetski. He was a good guy. Checked fishing license, checked floatation devices and made sure we had a fire extinguisher on board. Glad they are out there doing that - poachers hurt us all. Also, I always do my topwater figure-8's subsurface - I caught my PB 48" doing that. I'm sure topwater figure-8's catch too - just thought I'd mention it since it worked so well for me. Thanks for the videos.

I haven't been to Canada since 08, before passports were required. What kind of documents did the O.P.P. ask for during their check? Also, what lake is this? I'm not asking for fishing spots. I've seen them on L.O.T.W, but not other lakes. Thanks.
@johnhrzn15013 ай бұрын
U will need a passport or MN enhanced license to enter. If u have a DUI in your past you may not be let in. But you should verify that before driving up. U will need your canada fishing license and outdoor card. Both can be purchased online.

@johnhrzn1501 Thanks for your reply, but it's not the information I need. I am asking if you need to carry your passport or other ID. in the boat? What did the police ask you to show them on the water? Thanks.

So I’m not quite understanding. Why would scent matter when you put it on a live crawler with natural scent already on it. I thing the test would have been better confirmed on plastics or cranks.
