Wow, look really clean bay, the question is…is the painting holding good? I easy to clean stains? I painted mine since walls were printer before and now cant keep walls clean 👎🏽

It's holding up pretty well. The high gloss paint I think is the trick. Nothing is sticking to it, at least so far. Plus, it's such an improvement over the un-painted brick, that I don't think anyone would even notice if it was dirty honestly.

@@normalcarwash can you share what type of primer and paint did you use?

@@ruiz4774 The primer is "Block Filler" by Dutch Boy. Specifically designed to stop paint from soaking into brick like a sponge. Once that's dry, we put a layer of Dutch "Porch and Floor" high gloss over the top. Both of them can be tinted colors, but we just went straight white for now.

Just do what I'm doing. Differentiate yourself from the tunnel washes and give the customers a great experience. It's all we can do at this point since we don't have millionaires and private equity money!

Interesting connectors, thanks for showing them. On another topic, when will you have the video where you replace the other connectors and those short hoses, since if 1 and 2 blew out, it probably means 3, 4, and 5 aren't far behind.... or is the cost of lost water and business less than the connectors and seals?

Honestly, I'm trying to ride these out until the end of the month, and my "new to me" automatics will be delivered and I can replace these aging systems. It's not so much the cost of water that gets me, it's the customer sitting in the bay with nothing coming out while the tower goes around, or worse, the pump loses its supply and runs dry and blows itself up.

@@normalcarwash What automatics are you planning on getting? Usually those older Hydrospray bays have more narrow bays that some IBA's won't fit in. Have you checked out Blastoff? Their system is relatively inexpensive and uses no proprietary parts, it fits into 13' wide bays.

@@Rodj12341 Blastoff is on my list of vendors. Looking at WashWorld, D&S, and Petit, but right now I'm getting a set of preowned D&S units to install in the interim.

How much does a sign like that cost?

I printed the vinyl and delivered it to the sign company, so it was a little less than if I had them do it, but the total amount was around $3500-4000 range with labor and installation, which was well worth it. The sign is 16' W and about 9' tall.

You should say what the totals are at the end of collections. especially to know when’s the busiest most profitable times and whens kind of slower.
