Battlefield Melee has different instrumentation in Brawl too. It’s weird how some melee songs where altered in such subtle ways.

One thing I bet you noticed: I used the brawl track. Unlike Icicle Mountain (Which is a song I showed off in a previous video), Multi-Man Melee is unchanged in brawl. Good thing too because I really like this song.

This is why I think Melee had the best soundtrack because most of the songs had that nice rhythm to the notes. Most of them just sound incomplete in the newer games especially the DK Rap and for some reason Brinstar was shortened

I mostly agree, the fact that they made songs shorter in 4 is dumb and even worse when they keep the short version for ultimate. *HOW COULD THEY REMOVE HE HAS NO STYLE, HE HAS NO GRACE*

even if brawl has a very good ost I don't really appreciate some remixes that were made from some melee music such as "raimbow cruise, super mario bros. 3 and fire emblem melee" which uses too much bass compared to melee versions "even if the music is similar
