I think the newer vessel sealing devices should be more practical. The question is how large a defect in mucosa and submucosa can be left alone ? Wouldn’t be better to approximate the mucosa &submucosa while working above the peritoneal reflection ?

Is this the temporary Stent or permanent as my father get operated recently with ERCP so am asking can we remove this Stent during gallbladder removal operate easily ?
