Great videos! What is the second song was different tempo, would you use automation to change it during the transition?

Why did Ableton abandoned the precious "Seg BPM" function in the audio clip view ? From version 1 to version 10, this function showed the actual bpm of a sample and worked perfectly ! Live 11 hasn't it anymore ... 😥

Hi Sir, Can you help me fix this issue that all recorded channels of my project file go pitch down itself in my Ableton Live 12 ?

Ableton is lame. No beat analyzer? Denon SC5000 have it and it's not even a laptop. Get with it, guys. SMH Just use tunebat Analyzer and upload your track. It'll do it much quicker.

Note to self. Continue to use Logic for detecting BPMs.

This method is only correct when the track has been played with a metronome. To chase a track with variable BPM (e.g. funky tracks played) I haven't found any function integrated into Ableton to do it.
@jaylackovic83418 ай бұрын
Unfortunately an overly complex way of warping audio. it's FAR less complicated than you're portraying it to be.

Using Cubase 13 : 1) analyse audio to make tempo track 2) generate midi click track 3) import the midi track in ableton to get the song tempo

How do you get the horizontal lines (0 crossing point)? I just have normal vertical grid , tried zooming in and out.

Ableton in so convoluted here given that on any DJ program it will automatically tell you the bpm upon loading the track!

should have done for an isolated vocal without beat. That's what i am doing and need to find the right bpm.
@troywakeman10 ай бұрын
did u ever find out how to do this
@OneStepToday10 ай бұрын
@@troywakeman yes. If you have a vocal only stem which is not in tempo, you will need to manually warp it to your beat. If it was originally in tempo then you can easily match it with a beat by trial and error or manually playing the beat with the song. The manually warping an off tempo vocal is very hectic.

OMFG why, just WHYYY the guys in Ableton still didnt managed to make a button "Analyze PBM"? Its 2023 already.

so basically, if we have a song that has a natural non-grid tempo, we need to manually map it?
@Sound_Reaction Жыл бұрын
Yes, but only if you're looking to have the rest of your session elements follow the tempo of your song. For instance, if you insert a delay and set it to tempo instead of time, it will always be in time if you have mapped the tempo of the song. You can of course turn warp on and select any tempo you like, but you may lose some of the original feel of the song.
