I used to be a huge collector of LEGO growing up, but this right here is an example of why I fell out of the hobby. The prices are getting absolutely ridiculous now (even accounting for inflation). There's no reason they need to be charging this much for a tiny Star Wars set

Its definitely a 30 dollar set but as long as people pay for it at 45 it will just keep on jumping. I dont recommend anyone to go for this set until its at least 10 dollars off.... If it ever goes on sale. Maybe walmart will use it for the 3 in 1 pack for 2025?

2:28 Regarding this: Ahsoka's Eta 2 Jedi Interceptor only ever appeared in season 5, episode 17 of the clone wars. By this point Anakin had abandoned the armor seen in seasons 1, 2 and partially in 3 and wore more traditional Jedi robes verry similar to the ones seen in ROTS. If they had made the set based off Ahsoka's Delta 7B Jedi Interceptor from the first couple seasons of the clone wars, then it would've made sense to have the clone wars Anakin with armor. (Side note I would've preferred Ahsoka's Delta 7B over the Eta 2)

I understand that this set has ~50 more pieces and 1 more figure than Anakin's jedi interceptor from 2020 ($35 today adjusted for inflation) but those things don't justify a $10 price jump in my mind. Anything $40 or up to me is a mid-tier lego set in terms of cost and I always viewed jedi interceptors/starfighters as low-tier lego sets in terms of cost since as a child they were some of the only sets I could get my parents to get me outside of christmas time or my birthday. I understand Lego wants to make their sets more detailed and offer more but when those things threaten the original identity of the jedi interceptors/starfighters (a low cost starfighter for kids to play with) I think that Lego is going in the wrong direction. They really should focus on keeping piece count down for these kinds of sets opting for less but larger pieces and instead make a ucs or adults welcome jedi interceptor/starfighter if they want to bump up the piece count and price. That brings me to my last point: adults welcome. I understand there is more money in appealing towards adults nowadays but I feel like they've been alienating their child-audience more and more as of late with this set being a prime example. I got into Lego due to getting my hands on cheap sets while grocery shopping with my parents. How is the current/next generation supposed to get into Lego Star Wars when the average set from the theme costs so much?

I think you forgot Spider Gwen. There’s no way Lego wouldn’t do her for one of the minifigures since she’s one of the main characters in the movie. They could do a really good job with this version & give it arm printing as well as leg printing for the blue shoes she wears in the movie.

They should add a new Killer Moth minifigure, or even just add his helmet piece from the 2016 Scarecrow harvester set somewhere inside as a reference.

The beginning of this list is diabolical (Especially the helmet one and the DeathStar one) But I actually agree at 8:43 about more personality and more unique type set like a Gungan one. Im a little tired of the whole clone wars/mando/new hope set that are done over and over again. It's cool what they did with "rebuild the galaxy" and I hope we get a more unique time period, even though they'll probably sell less.

Lego groups new sets from this entire decade besides a few not so great sets Legos minifigures especially the recent clones are just beautiful .Also Legos newer jedi starfighters are better than what Lego did back in the day and the down sizing of Lego Starwars ships doesnt ruin anything . 4+ sets are the only sets Lego doesnt right sometimes the best 4+ set is that Lego city spaceship and research lab set .Also Lego groups recent themes like dreamz which i gotta say is an excellent theme again with only a small amount of bad sets but most of those dreamz sets are really cool. In conclusion lego is doing some really amazing sets I hope lego keeps doing what theyre doing with themes like Dreamz and Starwars.
