How did each side hold up over several days?
@ojuice81105 ай бұрын
The doux side is better imo. Seems to have absorbed faster & is shinier. I have a twa & low porosity hair & i don’t want mine longer. Plus it’s hard for my hair to form a cast so i need a stronger hold.

That Camille Rose Spiked Honey is my absolute fav mousse!! The smell.. The moisture.. The definition.. everything!! And when I want a little more hold, I just add a touch of gel on top!! I like The Doux, but… it leaves my hair dry.. even with a leave-in underneath..

I feel this 100%! I got caught up in the natural hair trend and trying to copy everyone's hair products and styles that I became a product junky. So I stopped and unfollowed literally everyone. I only follow you and another naturalista for tips and advice and ones that keep it real! So keep up the good work

Where did you find the original Wetline with the green top?? I thought they stopped selling that once they changed the formula. Your hair is beautiful btw! 😍

So, I actually never had relaxer or any chemicals in my hair, I just have really bad split ends. I’m still trying to figure out whether I want to big chop because I don’t have that line of demarcation but when I do a puff, I can see where my ends are a bit see through compared to the base of my ponytail
@kid-ava6 ай бұрын
I have a similar issue as you. bad split ends and heat damage from blowouts and silk presses has completely damaged my curl pattern. I was able to restore some of the damage with protein treatmeants but I haven't had the same curl pattern in years. I think if split ends are your only problem and the curl pattern is still there, cut it off before it travels up and gets worse

You're welcome! Glad you liked it. Its one of my favorites for a quick wash and go. But for twist outs and braid outs I like the Doux mousse. My next suggestion would be to do the week test with the mousse and see how it compares to the doux! Love the videos

The voodoo hair oil on you first day of using it the day after did you scalp itch a bit
@RissaRox9 ай бұрын
Now that you mention it, I had some slight itching the first day. But nothing serious and it went away after the first use. So I’d say tread lightly if you have a sensitive scalp
