I always thought the tune in Petscop 6 was a harmony echo of the CAUGHT jingle, which plays just before.

The unidentifiable jingle with the door opening/mirror desync is definitely some kind of square wave, like old pc speaker sounds or early video games before samples. They're not tuned to notes but to frequencies. They're also really primitive for a Playstation game, capable of some pretty good samples, relatively high quality voice recordings, and even redbook audio. Most games didn't go that far because of storage limitations, mind. With square waves, maybe you're not looking for specific note patterns, but the general pitch ascent/descent pattern, maybe the gaps between frequencies are regular enough to match to notes.

Now after seeing the review of the game of how and why this animation makes more sense than my headcannon (first introduction) sense,I’m glad this is how I’ll slowly get used to this games series (even tho I still need to play the said game series) (other than that I already grabbed this a while ago and put it into a playlist to see it every now and again,and alongside others.

My ideas for what a couple of the gang members would be as animals Uncle: Armadillo Hosea: Parrot Charles: Eagle Bill: Boar Sean: Fox Strauss: Vulture Javier: Gila Monster (That's all my dumb ah could come with maybe you smarter folks could come up with some more for gang members or better animals for the gang members I came up with)
