This piece of reporting is one of the best and most beautiful I've ever seen. Much respect to the soldiers, and many thanks to the reporters who told their story.

Reagan was a great speaker and a great showman. He was an expert manipulator and at times a con artist.

This book is the answer to, "Mommy Dearest." That's not to say that Christine didn't suffer. I believe she did. I think maybe Ms. Davis's daughter was cut out of her will so she wrote this book. I don't think she abused her daughter. Joan Crawford was a perfectionist and they are tough to live with.

The host of this show is living proof that we had some seriously uptight and judgmental people around in the 80's

I am a Reagan guy, but here in 2024, either of these would be better than our current options. It is amazing to hear two intelligent men discussing the political issues of the time and not attacking each other. How did we get here in 2024?

This girl is an absolute heroine to my way of thinking. Her mother was terrorizing her status with her own children and threatening her marriage, having destroyed one already (the younger sister). I think people cannot imagine a bad mother but there sure are some. Is is reality and there are times when we must defend our castle.

I don't understand most of the comments. I haven't read the book but in the interview we are watching here B D. says her mother was loving, never abusive and a good mother. She makes clear that her difficult relationship with her mother happenened in adulthood. People are acting like she wrote a book about abuse. Parents and children can certainly fall out without any abuse being involved. What I can't understand is if Bette felt the way about men that is portrayed here why was her adopted son the only child she left any of her estate to? He must have been the exception to the rule. And although we can guess why Bette left B. D. out of her will, why did she leave her other daughter out? Perhaps she was already taken care of as she had received care from others most of her life and so that care must have been already taken into account. Whatever is the case, watching this video doesn't make me think any less of Bette Davis and I also do not feel the need to bash her only biological child over what has been said here. Instead I heard her daughter say many complimentary things about her as a mother to her as a child.
