I really wish they would've finished this story because where was this going with the dad growing as a person. Also it really gives me the vibe of Married... With Children with gay infusion.

Larry really is horrible. Some stuff is just kid stuff but the part where Kenny was kicked out. Kenny was doing his best to repay the kindness he was bestoyed and I get the other kids attitude about chores 😂 but the attempted sabotage was just not cool. Like, the dad was horrible too but there was at least an effort to try to change and he's been like that for his life so its gonna be a struggle to change but there was still an attempt to understand even if hes still incredibly homophobic and racist. Changing those beliefs are gonna take some time and he's trying. I don't think Larry was.

That last message is so important16 years later. The right is looking to undo all that we've progressed. It hadn't happened then, but same sex marriage is in danger of being taken away as a right, just like they did with Roe vs wade.
