Nothing wrong with X. People need to stop getting political and just mute or ignore stuff they don’t agree with instead of crying and refuses to use the platform. Grow up.

And what was the law? Let the government spy on us and stuff? Suppress our privacy in the name of an "enemy" that was a child of CIA in the first place? Don't be so slaverish to your bosses.

Crazy part to me is he exposed national security secrets, and barely anything even happened with the general population.. not sure they even cared. The gov basically still does it too

Bruh...smoking weed was illegal because black jazz artists were pulling white women too easy...to say you BROKE THE LAW when the law was created by corrupt MEN...then your perspective and opinion is based on flawed and ignorant assumptions...you condemn a man to DEATH AND TREASON because he "broke a law" by whistleblowing on corrupt and evil people in OUR government...dude youre a joke...why arent you upset at the people who BROKE THE LAW in OUR OWN government?? You're a joke..."did he expose some things we were doing?" "In retrospect its pretty wild?" "Do i fault him?" Dude I WILL NEVER sub to someone like you...why even put this out there?...

Should he be arrested? There's an argument for it, but "he broke the law" isn't it. Anne Frank broke the law. The soldiers who killed her were obeying it. Black and white opinions are for children who don't have the capacity for complexity.

If you think pointing out that your government is breaking the law, you're an idiot. You have both a moral and legal obligation to report abuse of power. There can be no law protecting criminal activities

No, they don’t think TikTok is the only social media platform that collects data. They know they all do. What they are concerned about is the Chinese government having their data and what they will do with it, even though the other platforms would probably sell it to them, if they haven’t already.

I think the distinction comes down to something very simple: the job market. Boot camps are not going to add shit to a resume, certs and/or a degree get you past filters, and can get you interviews. Obviously once you have a lot of experience you can get away without any certs/degrees, but the market is SUPER rough for mid/entry level right now.
@CyberInsecurity
@CyberInsecurity 19 күн бұрын
I think the job market drives demand, which drives opportunistic businesses to look for ways to monetize that demand, which leads to the creation of a product that can be monetized. Bootcamps and courses are the quickest and easiest to accomplish that.

If you're sole focus is on getting a job, you have narrowed down the requirement to be very specific. The government is still very old school in that thought process and methodology - although there has been talk of it changing for roles at the FBI. But hoenstly - there is better pay, opportunity, and more fun to be had by the private sector.

I’ve been doing this for 20 across many areas of technology and I still have it from time to time. Just surround yourself with humble team mates that all want to learn and share. It dilutes imposter syndrome from happening to you and your team. I also think it comes from people who have a passion to learn.

if GRC is an entry level cybersecurity then why do they get paid more than many SOC analysts? GRC works along side executive manage
@CyberInsecurity
@CyberInsecurity 2 ай бұрын
Every role has entry level positions. Salary range is independant of that. SOC analyst is more akin to "help desk", especially for MSSPs who view that labor as easily outsourced and thus very cheap to obtain. GRC not so much.
