hope this doesn't sound weird, but you have a really nice voice haha. this kind of inspires/motivates me to do the same, i'm glued to my pc like 24/7. i just worry about what to do with boredom and in general, i'm not so good at "not doing anything"
@RobSeib

Thanks! Not weird - I get regular comments about my voice. Sometimes people don't like it but mostly positive. Yes, staring boredom in the eyes can be frightening. But I'm rarely actually doing "nothing". Writing, thinking, playing music, drawing, making games, all these things fill the space. Then I get tired and go to sleep :D

Very inspiring video. I have been wondering if this would be something i'd be interested in doing. I am 20 years old so social media has always been present in my life. A few weeks ago i went on holiday to Australia and spent a lot less time on my phone. I am used to browsing reddit, but decided a while back to leave all the subs except f1 subs, as reddit is more like a news hub related to the sport now. I noticed it did leave an entertainment void, which has (unfortunately) been filled by instagram reels as a few friends of mine like to share memes around that way. I am planning on also quitting that part of social media and i want to try and make my yt feed in more of an inspirational center. More related to designing (i study electrical and mechanical engineering), but also mental health like healthygamers, who has covered this topic in a more youthfull way. I think a good start would be not watching yt before bed 😅. Something which i didn't have any problems with in australia, but i notice i haven't been able to keep that momentum going since i've been back. I guess what i am (or now was) afraid of was feeling bored constantly. Not for a few days, but weeks or months. Hearing you say that you could feel the boredom leaving you after day 2-3 really convinced me to try this out. I am going to meditate on it tonight and write the rules i want to follow in my journal and use that as a way of logging my progress. Again, very good video, not over the top, not some health guru thing. Just someone trying something new and documenting it. Wonderful

Awesome Sauce! I'm very glad you enjoyed the video and it could inspire you in some way. Yeah I don't really give advice or pretend I'm qualified to tell other people what they should be doing. I could imagine it would take different people different lengths of time to overcome that boredom and start filling it with positive activity. I'm lucky I've got hobbies like music and game design. Either way tho, I found it surprising how little I missed all the stuff by the end of the week. I'll do a followup video after a month but so far, I've been good at moderating my intake and following my new goals. Also, healthygamergg Dr K is great, I like his stuff.

I’ve had some of these feelings and thoughts clunking around for a while, I think this gave me the push I needed. I may try your ‘cleanse’ for 7 days first just to help me make an outline on how I want to consume content moving forward. Great video!

Good playthrough, thanks. Your questions during play as to whether the Character with the pack should play this is a good one - seems odd that when using life drain you forfeit all blessing tokens, yet alot of the monsters reference blessing tokens. Taking the option to lower morality at every opportunity seems the way to go with this particular pack - the lower you are, the more powerful you are. I suppose the balance for this seems to be the not being able to gain blessing tokens and also, using the dungeon deck 2 gives a possibility of coming across the archangel who can cause you lose health when your in the minus on the track. I wouldn't personally start with a new character on level 3, more likely I'd want to start a character on level 1 and that same character progresses through the dungeons with me. I do think you seem to draw 'well' from the dungeon deck - it's even made me wonder if deck 2 is an easier deck than the first, but don't think it is, reading other people's thoughts on it. I've not used deck 2 as yet but might give it a go to see how it goes. Given how easy you made this look, I suggest you try Mizlak the Beggar from level 1 and try get him thorugh all the levels!
@RobSeib
@RobSeib 6 ай бұрын
Awesome thanks for the thoughts! It would be an interesting time to play Mizlak that's for sure haha. It's a great idea to play through multiple levels with 1 character, altho I've been switching it up to give me the opportunity to try all of them in a short span. Might add more depth to do as you suggested tho.

just starting to go thru your playthroughs. Couple of things to note: If a enemy card has Loot & Gold icons - you get BOTH. The other thing: On eating a ration at the end of each level - you lose a ration but you gain an Energy. Enjoyed this run through, thanks. Any thoughts on Tin Helm? (Iron Helm's little brother)
@RobSeib
@RobSeib 7 ай бұрын
Hello Donny, Thanks for watching! Thank you for the advice, I totally forgot about getting both loot and gold - definitely had forgotten how that works. Oh I didn't even know I get an Energy for eating the Ration at the end of a Level. Now that you mention it, I do remember the rule about being able to eat one for an Energy any time. But I never put 2 and 2 together. I do like Tin Helm, I've played 3 games of it. It's a bit less to manage but still interesting gameplay for the scope of game it is. Definitely worth a buy and several plays. If you watch my video of Malicia's Refuge, I would love to hear your thoughts on it because I found it confusing how that expansion works. Plus I ended with 23 gold which made me feel like I cheated lol! I hope to do a playthrough of a Level 4 dungeon soon!
