Yeah, unfortunately they don't enter so many battles these days. Did you see the footage from their anniversary though? Kazuki Roc and even Assassin came back for that one.

i really like the way she used her flexibility compared to other flexible bgirls. they usually reserve their flexibility to poses but she integrated hers into the dance itself which i appreciate.

That's awesome. I actually started this channel for precisely that reason... I went to UK for an event and was talking about Wu Tan, but couldn't find any videos online, lol. So many dope styles over here, but because they don't win the event, people don't get to see them.

its how it all started. specifically in BK I believe bushwick gang the outlaws in the 60s. They were probably originally jerk dancing to like some garage punk fusion or something. And then the kids who got it from them in the late 60s early 70s created the Rock Dance culture to soul funk music, right after the whole 60s gang era pretty much..lol by mid 70s it was all over bk and going all city. The kids in coney island called it "the war dance" lol... they originally called it Rockin supposedly the leader of the Dynasty Rockers coined the term. But before that the blacks would call it burning. They would get down on the break, stick a hand in your face as they walked away and say they burned You meaning outdanced you. The PR's made burning a term for any move that mocked you like a punch, kick, blowing kisses etc.. And they developed like a basic Jerk. THe Brooklyn Rock is the most Raw. THe BX one is more classy and sophisticated alot of the hustle and salsa. But the BK One is the first. Little Dave Rockers is one of the earliest crews. Dynasty Rockers became one of the biggest. Mastermind Rockers became one of the longest going and I believe started a Rock Tradition with the BX gang the Masterminds.
