Its impressive, considering what you are piloting is a standard AC, against NEXT gen AC which is more powerful, with larger energy reserves, and having speed so high it cant be compared

I hate infinite 3v3. They should have given us higher AP or allowed us to use our repair kits till it was done.

Zigzaging or running in one direction for too much time is not a good idea against sniper cannons. Movements must be very irregular and glidding is not that good option. Jumping also help to confuse target

Man, I sorely miss this style of Armored Core multiplayer; the persistent wars, the cool modes, the playerbase factions, hell even the awesome intro sequences. Infinite 1v1 or 3v3 in Fires of Rubicon just isn't the same. Also I loved not having to worry about stagger but that's a different complaint.

Never gave those missiles a chance bc i thought they were too low in speed and ammo, but seems hard to scape even with LWs

if the player launching them doesn't bait your lockbox or if the situation isn't otherwise unfavorable, you can shoot them down. CIWs also make them a dead weigh on your shoulder. one more option is to put a wall between and back away from the explosion radius, which it looks like the player did, but couldn't make it in time

Normally at that distance u still get cough. Both must have very good internet so lag can't play bad in such situations. Also that turning in mid air feels pretty quick XD

Each player's positions are always slightly off due to how ACVD handles connections. On a different day that honestly could have been a clean hit with how closing the timing was.

Wow this is really cool. Cheng, I've seriously always wondered some things, and I'm curious if you know the answer. How much of ACV (particularly map-wise) exists in VD's data? I always found it strange how Mining Sector was still the test map, even though it doesn't exist in any other form-which also begs the question..how much of the rest of Mining Sector still exists beyond the boundaries?

@@BHSoren map wise basically nothing. The mining sector we see in ACVD for example is not the full version, and none of V's maps are in the game otherwise (at least not the original versions, for example Galef Plant.)

@@FromCheng Dang I really suspected there'd be something buried in there somewhere and that there was secretly more to the test map that wasn't accessible in-game as it seems the simpler way of doing it. Kinda disappointing, but thanks for the answer!

I just realized, both this boss and Demon's Souls "Storm King" are variations of that bomber mission from AC2 Another Age.
