Now I'm so interested in everything about the USS ENTERPRISE-E. So when this KZbin video popped up on my phone, I had to check it out, now that I am a make believe Captain of the USS ENTERPRISE-E. 😎

For how much nitpicking the "nuTrek"-hating Trekkies did about seasons 1 & 2 of Picard, a lot of them found their way to ignore some whoppers in season 3 in exchange for some lazy fan service, like how "Starfleet" wasn't a result of the launch of the NX-01 in 2151 but had existed for decades prior, or the whole business with the Titan "refit" that had to be awkwardly patched up in real time by the tie-in marketing material. I think Matalas' original idea was that the Neo-Con (wait, really?) Titan really *was* Riker's old command, since the Luna-class Titan wasn't made canon until very recently. When they realized that wouldn't work they decided to slap an A on it, but they forgot to remove the dialogue from both Picard and Shaw about how the ship "wasn't Riker's anymore," so instead of reworking the outline they decided to make it somehow the same ship... but still not? I also think Metalas was forgetting how long Riker had been out of Starfleet by that point, and originally wrote Shaw to be the ship's very next Captain. Everything about the Titan-A (and Riker's relationship to it) seemed like they were adapting a first draft that didn't know about the actual state of the Trek universe and its characters in 2401. It's just a symptom of a larger problem with season 3 that the earlier seasons didn't have. I don't mind gratuitous fan service, but season 3 had just so much weird undoing of things so Terry Metalas could make his Star Trek in line with the Star Trek he remembered, rather than the Star Trek that actually was. The previous seasons were divisive and clumsy at times, but at least they were making new Star Trek with new ideas. The D's destruction at Varidian III? Undone (and now it moves like a fighter jet! Maybe that's why Geordi kept it a secret from all his friends for 20 years). We saw the NX-01 decommissioned without a refit? Nah, it was a holodeck error! Ro left Starfleet by committing an act of literal treason? She's back, and now she's internal affairs! Kirk buried on an anonymous mountaintop? That sucks for him, let's have Daystrom dig him up and put him in a closet for later! Lore not actually dead? Whatever, his consciousness is part of new Data now! Odo's bucket not a standard changling accessory? Whatever, it came with the changeling action figure! The Borg defeated by Janeway? Um, were just lying in wait, and now they're... a virus! And all of it was in service of yet another Borg Queen reveal, which was somehow Matalas' third in two seasons as showrunner, and by far the least interesting one. Anyway. I really like the Titan design. Also, loved the rocks montage.

Ha I forgot I made a post 5 years ago. I do believe at this point that when the Sao Paulo was renamed to Defiant they should have kept the Sao Paulo's registry number. I had made a model of the old AMT/ERTL Defiant using custom decals (and different paint job). USS Defiant then the Sao Paulo's registry number. I should have kept it.... I might build me another one or build another Round 2 1/1000 version and have the decals that setup.

Remastered version is NOT made from crappy CD-Rom videos, but from legitimate unreleased Japan DVD with DVD quality video. It's very rare, so rare in fact that many fans don't even know about the DVD. It finds its way onto Ecrater, eBay and similar sites.

I have known Genevieve Bujold for years not knowing that she was on Star Trek, she never talked about it. I could almost consider her a friend, she retired and went to a home for actors. She always lived in a tiny guest house in Malibu and I can see that she wouldn’t fit for Star Trek, she even knew that I was a fan of the ‘66 tv show, but never talked about it. I will say this, she was a very dedicated actress and she may have thought it was below her to be on a tv show. I knew her from Coma and eye of the beholder and Dead ringers.

You need to update this video to include the Enterprise D Bridge from Picard season 3.

Voyager had it's rough spots but Kate was amazing in her role and doesn't lose out to neither Sisco or Picard as a captain

The abandoned ones looked bad with the division color on the collar. Using the grey jumpsuit collar and undershirts or the collar from the Picard sweater/jacket combo. would look good.

the fact that starfleet wanted to scrap a ship that can blow up a klingon battleship in 7 seconds is indicative of starfleets immense power relative to the klingons. why are they in a cold war? the klingons would lose. fast.

Kind-of a neat detail i didnt notice until i got the ship in star trek online is the set of 2 tos style spinning buzzards inside the orange buzzards of the new enterprise.

Mulgrew's "shatner" was a better way to go than Bujold's "Stewart."

Sometimes stuff got lost (or "lost") between seasons. The original TOS Romulan bird of prey, for example. As I recall, that's what happened with the mold for Worf's forehead/nose, and also his sash. Which is a shame, because Michael Dorn loved that sash. But I think he ended up loving the new one better, so it's all good.

Starfleet should definitely re-evaluate the overall stone content of it's bridges.

Love the Miranda and Nebula styles. Can't enough of them. I'd love to see them in every era.
