Overjoyed to find that someone has uploaded this - THANK YOU! I just found my long-lost disc of 'We Can See the Sky From Here'. A criminally underrated and underappreciated band. They really nailed the screamo/post hardcore sound.

i'm assuming they named themselves after the left-wing 1848 revolutions that sweeped germany and other parts of europe.. i'd be curious to read the lyrics of these songs or hear from the band members why they chose that name. a lot of "48ers" ended up as refugees who settled in the US.

Spent a lot of time with these guys in Japan back in the day, (2010) some of the best people I’ve ever known. Saw them many times in sweaty basements in Okinawa. We all immediately bonded over skramz.
