It’s sad though because if you watch the full video, he runs to the steer releases and yells at them. He never checked on his horse.

How can that even be considered a ’sport’. Riding the safety of animals and tormenting calves that will probably be laughed at while the humans are eating them for lunch. Such a senseless thing to do. Yeah great just off your horse, that only knows to run full speed in a straight line for three seconds, and throw a calf to the ground and do as much harm to both as possible. Great humans. Give yourselves another A+ for tormenting animals.

I have had horses for over 45 years, showing, team penning with no bridle or no bit , training, rehabing horses like these that were abused by inconsiderate humans just to win. THese horses are being tortured with all the garbage they put on them so that is all they are thinking about. These bits are no necessary since horses have a very sensitive mouth like alll living beings., THey are yanked back non stop with the bit and a tie down to keep their heads down before they even leave the chute then immediately they spur them forward and then yank them back with bits and tie downs and then wonder why there are wrecks and horses just completely breaking down and losing it. Not to mention the blown out hocks, etc. (I have seen many competition horses with chronic lameness issues) from abusive riding. Bucking riders off etc. Wow I cant imagine why they are exploding like that. 😡 Such cruelty and ignorance. I saw a calf roper and team roper riding his horse with no bridle or bit or tie down and his horse was doing excellent with winning times so why cant the rest of you do that or are you afraid to try. I was really impressed with what he was doing and did not hurt the horse at all so he could think about the job he was doing. If I recall he was disqualified or told he had to use a bridle to compete and not to do that because his horse's head was not tied up like everybody else. It was an unfair advantage . Horses are very very sensitive animals and dont need all that torturous equipment which eventually makes them all want to fight back. Why dont you all get this. I have seen this kind of abuse and ignorance in all kinds of riding. You would think by now some of you all would be open to trying a different better way and see what a great big change you will see in your horse who is the only reason you win anything anyway so dont forget that. Sad and upseting to still see this kind of treatment with horses still going on today. TIME TO CHANGE FOR THE SAKE OF THE HORSE!!!!! Remember horses are God's creation and God would not be happy about how his creation is being treated.

Yeah my horse has never needed a bit. We were a partnership and she was so sensitive she could just feel where I wanted to go.

The dude is a careless idiot!! That wreck is all on him. He could have avoided it. Obviously, he has a short fuse and would rather make a big scene. Could, should have been handled better. Arrogance & ignorance, bad combination.. I would like to see the entire video from the start. With little footage, this focuses directly on the riders ignorance. Where was the hazer and how far out the shoot were they. I gotta find it. Lol
@Magny80 Жыл бұрын
Soo many videos of this exact accident, and not a single one explaining what the cowboy ran back to the chute operator for. He was obviously upset about something, but comeon...why leave us hangin...some of us are actually curious what the argument was.
@zbstudios8927 Жыл бұрын
The steer had done that before and the cowboy was pissed because he could have hurt the horse or him because the stock contractor still ran that steer
@JK-lp6uw Жыл бұрын
@zbstudios8927 so a steer does a move 1, 2 times, and it's the fault of....??? Who or what exactly? Steer can't be all that bad if still running him. If Mr. Careless was aware of the so called "antics" of said rogue Steer, he could have taken care of before his big display of idiocy. Had the Steer pulled or maybe allowed a different one. I don't know the rules now a days, everything changes so much. I definitely know it could have Bern handled better. I can't stress enough of how awful I think this guy is.
@pietvanbreemen533411 ай бұрын
This happened at RODeo HOUSTON 2022, just last year. The cowboy is J.D. Struxness. A top notch PRCA STEERWRESTLER. He runs back to tell the stock contractor, Binion Cervi how God awful the cattle are. Several other steer wrestlers came close to this same wreck.

No, not a sorry ass steer. Sorry ass cowboy... the dude is supposedly the smart one. 😂 obviously not in this instance. Most stupid, careless thing I've witnessed from a cowboy in all my years. Dude is bad news.
@maceowoods3764 Жыл бұрын
Worst display of horsemanship that steer is obviously coming left towards him but yet he reigning his horse in towards the steer trying to get off instead of reigning left to get the horse on a different lead to get around the steer. I guarantee he had to see it coming the way he hit that steer. Just bad horsemanship.
