Uncle David will be missed. Uncle David was a cornerstone for the Sasse family. I know my mother (his older sister) will keenly feel this loss, as will many of his other siblings and family members. I send (and have sent) my condolences to Auntie Jan, cousins Michael and Julie and their families. May Uncle David's memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Peder was a big brother to me when I was a teenage boy in the early 2000s. He was always wonderful to me when he came to my church(es) in Morrison, Albany, and Peoria, IL. When I was 16, he let me play his guitar and we sang "Because he Lives" on the altar steps together. I am glad to be one of the thousands of teenagers in my generation whose lives he touched. And if I am even half as good to teenage boys in my own pastoral ministry as Peder was to me, I'll know I'm on the right track. He gave me something to pass on, which I intend to do. I went to Bible college with Sherri. Praying for her family. Peder was a genuine man of God and he truly made his years on this earth count for the kingdom of God.

I live in Oshkosh and always enjoyed Peder Eide at Lifest Oshkosh. He was a great friend and one of my favorite musicians.
