For a relatively short video this brought me a lot of enjoyment! If you could adjust the time lapse speed to highlight the intense moments, like the beginning of the boost-back or the landing burn, that would be even better

There is a disadvantage to this though. The DM3 can power the brakes on the Slug but not the DE2, so when using the DM3, we lose braking potential. When using the DM3 I isolate the brakes on the electric and diesel electrics. I may shunt them back because braking is probably more important than traction when using the slug and DE2s. But first we need to test this order it in future Derail valley sessions.

Are you saying that a locomotive either side of the slug increases the power sent to it? I just tried looking it up and one of the wiki pages states: "A slug can be powered by two locomotives simultaneously;" That's interesting, I didn't realise that. Normally, I’m not a fan of unsolicited advice during gameplay, but I appreciate the valid point here. I will shunt the order of the locomotives around and give it a try. Thanks.
