Your swing reminds me of Freddie Couples, keep up the good work.

I just picked a full set up at Goodwill for $32. They’re not great shape, but I would put them as a little more than good shape. Nothing that sending them off to a professional couldn’t fix.

Try the Accuform PTM's please! Beautiful blades from a small company in Canada that used really soft steel for the heads.

Edwin Watts is regripping and extending (1.25) a set of JN Muirfield 20th (2-PW) for me. I’m picking them up this afternoon. When I dropped them off the store manager repeatedly commented how it had been years since he had seen a set. He called over a couple of the employees to check them out and I must admit I felt a twinge of pride. To quote Wayne and Garth “we’re not worthy”.😂😂😂

i have a set of them and they rock. they make you a better ball striker, cuz not hitting the sweet spot is a little painful. have you ever played Ben Hogan Apex 2 irons. I play a set of them as my gamers. bent 3 degrees upright with 1.5 inch extensions in the grips. orginal stiff shafts and lofts. manufactured in 1979.

The Murfield model you had there are like 35-40 years old. Pretty sure they came out in 1986-88. So pure ! And your right, those clubs do deserve respect. You also made a good point, clubs like that make you swing better, your brain knows you need to hone in your A swing. great video

Good for kids? Bruce litske, mark calcavechia, Fred couples, and a few more were paid sponsors and played the original 845's, not the 855, not the titanium, but the one in your video. You must realize that golf companies will always have new designs promising bigger is better?? Ssdd, always trying to re invent the wheel, it's always been that way and always will. Remember, it's not the club but the man behind it. I'm currently building a set from eBay, I'm a club builder, and with the correct shaft and grip, these will preform even better than the original setup. Will bend mine 2 degrees flat, KBS c- taper stiff, std. Length, golf pride midsize tour wrap white grips. Remember, I'm modifying the wheel, not reinventing the wheel.

My brother handed the full set of them to me about 25years ago, he since became a Pro. I'm still using them today, very satisfying to use when you hit them right.

I still have an exact set like this (3 - PW). Rarely play them but I will never get rid of them. BTW: more like about 40 years old.

I’m a 26 year old dude & these are the only clubs I’ve ever known. I do have a new putter, though I still own my Acushnet Bullseye. I love learning on these clubs because I know if I can hit those well, I can hit the newer clubs pretty well too. I absolutely love these clubs & recently got them regripped including my Bullseye & am gonna keep them for a while.

I have this set including the SW , as a returning golfer they're so hard to learn to improve with 😂 but when you hit them well 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 they feel immense. I love how they look in the bag , I've had to refurb using my jewelers kit but for old clubs who'd know they were now 🙂

I'm new to golf and I'm putting together a set of Tommy's 845s with midsize grips. This video just confirmed my thoughts on these clubs and I can't wait to take them out. Good job and thanks so much! There are not too many videos on these irons I've looked so this video is a gem.

My actual set of clubs. Love them, they look so pure. I know Cavity Backs are easier, that also I need newer technology, bla bla bla. This irons perform as good as any other set, plus Macgregor and, Jacks Signature and Muirfield stamp. They will never be hanging in the wall. Once in a while i play also Persimmon and a bullseye putter

Great clubs, still have my set 3i - SW. Just put them back in the bag. I have some much newer TM SLDR in graphite shafts - but the TA 845s Silver Scots just feel natural to me.

Just found some K1s from my dad's mate who sadly passed away. Just was clearing the garage for his wife and came across these beauties. Mine are the 77-84 version with numbers on the sole. Just had a for whacks with them, and they feel fantastic.....feel better than my irons 🤣🤣

I love old blades too and collect and play a variety. I'd like to see you do videos on Wilson FG-17s (mid-80s), Golden Ram Tour Grinds, Cleveland Classic Tour Forged Custom Grind IIIs (hard to find but I love mine), Ben Hogan Apex PCs (1985-87), Ben Hogan Apex BH Grinds (1990), and Ben Hogan 1999 Apexes. I've played all of these and love different things about each set. Thanks for the video; very enjoyable.
