Man! Chad Reed was really fucked up. He definitely caused Stewart to lose at least one Championship with his BS riding.

Reed wasn’t even trying to get the lead back, he was just pissed that Stewart had just pinned him up against his teammate, I don’t blame him either. If you look at the angle Reed was taking through that turn before the whoops, he wasn’t worried about lining up for the exit of the turn or nothing, just made sure to make a bee line to cut Stewart off.

Reed never could handle James being faster than him.

And Vice Versa. LOL. These two elevated one another. Like Ward and Johnson, Stanton and Bradshaw, McGrath and Carmichael, Villopoto and Dungey. Great races have two riders.

2011 was an epic year for Supercross. I think this was probably Stewart’s last real shot at another title. He stuck around for a few mor years, and got several more iconic wins. But the injuries and crazy crashes just started adding up after this season. Reed was in the points lead for a while outdoors in 2011, until the Chadapult crash at Millville derailed him, even though he still finished the race, that kind of took the wind out of the sails points wise. Then Reed was looking great in Supercross in 2012 until he tore his ACL. These were definitely two of the greatest. Miss watching their rivalry and battles for races and championships.

I hope some of you children have grown up a bit over the past 6 years. Chad was desperate, Stewart was doped up, and Villopoto was the fastest man on the planet, at least the one who crossed the finish line first, the most often. Oh, and 'Big James" would be sitting in the stands for the next race, not in the pits, if he pushed my mechanic out of the way to scold me for getting rammed when I was leading the race. MX parents are the worst.

the factories should have developed the 2 stroke 500 more and made 350 cc 2 stroke instead of going to 450 four stroke if they needed more power the 2 stroke 350 would be faster than a 4 stroke 450-but stewart was faster on a 250 than most 450 riders i dont get the whole 4 stroke movement now the price of dirt bikes are stupid -10 grand for a yz 250 bull

He said the smartest. What I believe he was implying was that Stewart was riding reckless as always, and Reed put that pass on Stewart taking his line. He may have cut Stewart's line, but Stewart had a bike width to go around. He was not quite committed to the corner, he has not completed the berm when Reed is 1 bike length in front, he had room. RV was lucky, yes, but he was implying that Reed and Stewart were not riding that smart.

without stewart theres no excitement. hes the only one who attemps others cant. some riders says of being smart or to play safe but this game is supercross..its abnormal to normal people.theres no safe in this game. its gang ho, go for broke..only the special breed of men can do it.

If stewart would have just settled for a 2nd or 3rd at times, he'd have won five or six championships. But he would go for stupid rhythms that ended up getting him hurt a lot. There's a reason nobody else was trying the stuff he would try, because you couldn't without risking race, or sometimes season ending wrecks. It ain't worth that for one race win but seventh in the championship standings. He's the second winningest rider of all time because that's all he raced for were race wins, not championships. Go back to the nineties and watch Jeremy, who won 72 supercross races, and seven supercross titles almost consecutively. He was super fast, but he wasn't an idiot. He didn't go for stuff just to show off. He just outrode everyone else, but he knew when to pull up. When you're ten seconds up with three to go, common sense says don't go for a quad. Fast forward to Villopoto, who won four championships consecutively. Dude was faster than anyone else out there for those four seasons. But he, like McGrath, knew when to slow up and not push it. You can be the fastest man on the planet all you want, but if you're on the ground or injured for half the season it doesn't matter. Stewart was flashy and fun to watch, but that cost him a ton of titles. Now he won a bunch too. Two supercross championships, and 24-0 in one season of outdoors, plus his titles on 125s, but he got hurt and lost a ton of titles also.

villipoto had a retarded post race interveiw, i mean realy its not the fastst racer but the smartest that wins. C'mon poto you wasnt the fastest or the smartest, that race you just got lucky because reed chose a bad line. Stewart ran a good race and i think he should of had that
