i am looking for a place that has columns carved into steep hillsides, the kind like they put on gov. buildings. And huge dragon faces, some holding rings in their mouths, all in pairs, as though they were made to put on bridges or each side of entrances. There's a round courtyard nearby and an apt. complex, with statues in the entrance, two small ones made of jade, about 2 ft. tall. All dragons in pairs, full dragons, sitting. The statues were not marble, i think it was a darker stone, but idk what. Thanks, subbed. I'm hunting a place that i just had a lucid dream about. The dream lasted for what seemed like hours. If anybody knows of anything similar, please tell me the location. Thank you.

The ancient city of Petra?

@@zacjohnsonf hmm.... I think that city might have popped up when I was looking for an answer. But what I saw in my dream was so megalithic, I could only imagine it to be on the red planet. The color of the giant stone pillars that was reddish tan and off white, in strips, layers, like it was a naturally occurring formation that maybe was carved or developed in an unusual way. Thank you for reading that. I've been going over paranormal subject matter lately, and yesterday I watched a video from ozark mtn. publishing, with a speaker who claims that she wakes up from dreams with specific words or sounds in her head and then if she repeats them it relieves her anxiety. With me it's more common that I wake up and have already forgotten the dream, then something reminds me of it and then suddenly I'm remembering the dream and trying to hold on to the little segments. But sometimes I wake up with the memory of a word still there, in my conscious mind, then when I start searching it I find lots of weird stuff.

@@zacjohnsonf since you replied, I will add the ending of that dream, which I have never shared, with anyone. During the dream, a young woman was escorting me around. She took me into an apt. complex, there were two jade dragon statues in the entrance area, about 2 ft. tall, each. She took me into an apt. where I assume she lived, and while we were chatting, a young couple came in. They also seemed to reside there. It was a strange, kind of seductive chat, going on, they showed me a program on the flat screen tv that was on the wall, it showed the giant pillars... they were cooking, I think. It was pleasant, and very lucid, I mean how often do you watch tv in a dream? But nothing too exciting. For some reason it became time for me to leave. She escorted me to the entrance area, where a lot of Asian businesses men and maybe a few women were gathering, I don't know why, then we walked out into the round courtyard. She hugged me and said, "Every twilight." Then the dream ended. I swear that's exactly what I remember. I don't have many lucid dreams. I just wanted to write it down.

@@zacjohnsonf I woke up feeling like I was already awake. Not at all like I usually feel when I wake up. The moment it ended I was awake. Like I blinked and I was back home.

@@zacjohnsonf that was a year ago, and I'm still getting emotional thinking about it, it's pretty strange. I'm not being clear, here, I need to clarify that the megalithic, huge stone pillars I saw on the tv in the apt. are different from the ones that were at the quarry, that I saw directly. Everything in that area was carved. Some things were humongous but within the realm of human capability. On tv were the really, really big pillars, which did not look carved, they had smooth sides, but they didn't look like any natural formation I've seen on earth.
