I use the Cursor rules as well for my coding standards, but I have actually found that making a README.md for every script/folder in every main directory, ie.. src, static, css, js, app, tests, etc..with the current state and goals to accomplish. Especially when you get a project that has backend and front end, css, js, html, and python.

Not allowing an LLM to use "thinking" tokens, by instructing it to "only output code, nothing else" degrades it's code quality significantly. Did I oversee something and this does still use CoT in the back or is the prompt really forcing direct code output?

@echohive16 күн бұрын
Yeah I might do that actually. But it will add latency
@emmanuelkolawole672016 күн бұрын
@echohive if the llm says I am checking the Internet, or I am checking your calendar, etc the human user will know to wait for the llm to carry out the task. And if the llm is taking too long to carry out a task with tool use, then the human user can just ask the llm to cancel the task and continue the conversation. So latency can be understandable when the llm communicates the start and end of the task to the human user

I love most of the projects you posted and shared, thanks! Additionally, I think it would be much more helpful to showcase the process or the think-process of the building the projects. Explaining code afterwords, even by a bot, doesn't really address why and how. With AI, it provides a higher abstraction of programming practice, so it makes much less sense to try to understand the syntax or semantics of programming language itself or APIs of services to use. Rather, the think process of the higher abstract level of applying AI (like how to use CURSOR and PROMPTs to code for a particular purpose app) is more needed and meaningful in learning or adapt AI shift. Nonetheless, this channel is one of the BEST ones out there ... great works, thanks
