What do you do when hurt by a doctor as Dr. Remick does. I was never told by my doctor that I was only suppose to be on Clonazapam for one to two weeks, I’m still on it. It’s been 10 years, I tried once to get off it and my legs went really weak. The psychiatrist told me to cut in half the dose was .25 mg that’s when my legs went weak. It sure lost my confidence it scared the heck out of me. I still think there should be a place for people to stay at to get off these drugs, and be well monitored not at home. I find know one knows how to tapper you off properly, I was put on it for anxiety when I found out I had diabetes. I’ve been listening to Mad in America, very scary these are people that have been put on psychiatric drugs and trying to get off them is terrible. As of now I take Effexor xr 75mg and .25 mg of clonazapam. I so agree with the doctor in the yellow tshirt I didn’t get her name. I’m so scared to go off any of these meds, because of the horror stories and scared to take diabetes medication I do it by diet and excercise, heard to many scary things about Metformin. My doctor did not inform me of the harms of being on Clonazapam for long term. I’m very upset about this. He is now retired and in the middle of getting a new doctor. I have been taking Effexor for about six years terrible side effects and no one listened to me of the constipation and sleeplessness at night.

While there were many times during the pandemic when your positivity was much appreciated, I have some tougher questions for you Bonnie, because to me it feels more like early March 2020 when no one was listening to common sense or thought action must be taken quickly to prevent massive loss of life and major disruption to the health system: "Common suffering builds strong bonds" you say. Are you aware that the 20 or more and increasing percent of people without continuing primary care in BC include those who desperately need it and that their lives are at risk because no one else in the health system is responsible for follow up care, care coordination, or accessibility? That the 1/4 of doctors doing continuing primary care are resigning because they are paid 1/3 to 1/2 the hourly net of anything else they could be doing, which is still less than specialists whose services save less lives? That that has made even episodic care unavailable in many communities due to the complexity of multimorbidity that doesn't work in the walk in business model? That the other 3/4 of doctors rarely do their own follow up and things get missed? How much work it is in BC when the entire health system can make demands for free services on these few poorly paid doctors? That studies from other countries where all other docs do their own follow up still show increased mortality with decreased primary care? That Dr. Fine at the BCCHM rally extrapolated those numbers to BC and estimated as many have died from lack of continuing primary care in BC as from covid in the past two years? And then the front line nurses: Did you ask them if they could go all out through another wave before deciding not to increase social restrictions? Because a lot of them have now resigned and the results are horrific. Do you believe that nurse to patient ratios matter? You say the government is working on solutions to our problems now, how? And why not before? Why are you so silent on this public health emergency?

I’m taking Effexor xr and I don’t like it at all, makes me groggy, I hate it. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2012, and was very stress and scared of this big life change, I’m going to be 60 in June, and I’m getting concerned that I have been on Clonazapam .25 mg for nine years and the Effexor xr for about 6 years. When first diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes I was taking Pristq, same thing groggy during the day switched to night but kept me awake. I can’t win with antidepressants.

The claim that your chances of dying from covid are 0% if you are vaccinated is just not true. I agree they are effective in preventing severe illness, and have slowed spread with some strains of covid, but they are not absolute as one doctor states in this video. I do believe another Doctor participant in this video has been quoted as saying "both of these diseases are vaccine preventable" when comparing covid to polio, which is also not true. The efficacy of the current covid vaccines are somewhat grey, like the flu vaccine, and because of this should not be mandated on entire populations. And we should be truthful and factual about what we say about them, bending the truth in either direction still warps reality. Just Saying'
