Do you have much information on LMIAs? My work submitted my the PR LMIA a few weeks ago. My current PGWP expires end of June and the immigration firm they are going through plans on sending in my work permit application a few days/a week before my current one expires. I have heard it can take around 3 months for them to process. I know I can go under maintained status. Just looking for some insights!

The possibility of CEC draws has me so excited because I have been hanging on by a string and asked my employer to do an LMIA, they accepted doing one and it is in process. My score is 484, LMIA will most likely not count to my CRS score and I am going to retake the language exam + use my next year work experience for my score. Do you think my score is good enough for CEC? I am also eligible for FSW.

The question is how big will the draws be with CEC? If they are bigger than 3k then score will drop. Otherwise the cutoff may hang around 500. As 500+ are essentially CEC candidates. Let's wait and hope for the best.

@@Samueltoucan2022 I can't say that. I think there is a possibility definitely but the way they are conducting the draws they are essentially inviting CEC candidates only with the General draws.
