I also run the buds through the washing machine. I wanted to note you can also use a credit card to partially remove the other top part. Same idea but it doesn't come all the way out - the side of the hinge somehow restrict fully removing it. Still you can crack open a good bit, enough to let it properly dry.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I went into a Three Store today. They tried a new SIM card which didn't help (I knew it wouldn't). They told me to try phoning Samsung. I was on for a good hour. They remote accessed and tried everything. It still doesn't work. I have an important exam next week and have been revising on a personalised app. If I send my phone off, I wont be able to revise.

i was able to have the FE work with my buds+ case by turning the magnets on the case upside down (polarity was different), wireless charging and percentage readings work, im pretty sure you could try to diy in a wireless pad on the FE case and wire it to the case battery
