I really like Andy however his ability is so much better than mine I don't think that I can apply anything to my own fitness journey.

So long as we keep men out of women’s sports, we’re all good. Women’s sport should not be a arena for mediocre male athletes.

"Nothing has to be extreme." What if you're working with an extreme athlete? Real question! I love this conversation and am trying to think about how I can treat my REDS as a motorcycle racer and spearfisherwoman with ARFID. I live in the extremes and am now trying to find some balance. What a great podcast, thank you, Renee!

A fantastic conversation with Ray Mears, His comment of having something to spark a love of the outdoors is incredibly important. He started my love when I was a small lad watching his shows on a Sunday Evening on the BBC!

Thanks for the Vlog Dom. I'll be taking on the G2E in just over 7 weeks time. You video was very helpful in seeing what to expect on the day. I'll be running it with someone also , as like you this will be my first ultra. Huge kudos mate 👏. Dropped a sub to the channel too.

I don't know whether Anna herself inspires my daughter or whether my daughter just enjoys proving 'Veganism' actually IS good for you but all this determination and achievement publicised HAS to have GOOD impression on the youth of today and I personally feel media like Anna publishes ought to be supported by Government as its a weapon against unhealthy lifestyles! "WATCH OUT FOR VEGAN RUNNERS!" My daughter ran just over 50 miles, blood running down her legs (shorts drying out and turning into razors), stamping in puddles just to keep herself awake and she still (foolishly in my opinion) went to work the next day. I'd like to think that publications like 'Womens Running' inspires my daughter just as much as her choice of being vegan as she was actually in one of Annas chosen pictures"

Really enjoyed this. As someone in my early 30's i really can appreciate the knowledge that Ray holds and has developed. The series around Aboriginal Britain are so interesting and if this could be shown to young people in schools or adults it will help give us all a hightened sense of belonging and appreciation for this place we call home. Keep up the good work!

It is such a great event! The organisers have a baggage system where you can check in luggage and they will take it from the start point to the end point. There might be a limit in terms of size and weight which I think is outlined on the website so it might be worth taking a look at that or messaging GB Ultras directly. I imagine there will be a lot of people in the same situation!

Great video. Thank you! 2 questions: 1, what kind of shoe did you are with, your regular running kicks or trail shoes or hoka type for more cushioning? 2, how did you carry your stuff, your suitcase, from Glasgow to edinburgh? did you use a special company that does that or does the organization help with that? I´m flying from Spain and I need to figure out how to carry my regular suitcase.

Hey! I was wearing Brooks running shoes which I had been training in. These didn't cause me any issues at all so I highly recommend picking shoes that you know you can travel long distances in. The company do a great job of taking your bags from the beginning to the end of the race but this information should be on the event website. it is worth double checking the restrictions!
