Wonder why enrollment is down? Look no farther than this group of clowns.

When will you all be held responsible for pushing jabs on students? None of you should make long term plans. Wonder why enrollment is down? You've lost the trust from students and their families.

thanks for letting me graduate from the new General studies major in STEM after waiting 16 years.

This Dbag is another bought and paid for PoS. It's funny that people like this think that students stay in CT after graduation. Admission is down because people are sick of indoctrination. Dem policies are what is killing this state slowly. Out of touch, as per usual.

my 128 credits I had for 20 years should have earned me a CCSU General Studies Degree.

Too bad you people won't take everyone's opinions or concerns into account. To not let the public comment on your meeting as it is happening just shows how closed minded you all are. So 5 or 6 people made the decision for thousands of young people. Unapproved by the FDA. If you mandate this for students, you mandate it for everyone, including teachers. They shouldn't be able to hide behind their union as you are letting them. Shame on all of you.

How can you mandate a vaccine that is not approved by the FDA? You're asking for lawsuits.

I have had 128 credits at CCSU for 15 years. I would like to graduate. They are proposing a new BA in General Studies. I have enough credits for a BGS Degree with (STEM) theme and a minor in Physics with 3.4 gpa. CCSU is proposing a program that requires 15 credits above 300 level. I want the program to require 25 credits above 200 level. UCONN BGS program requires 30 credits above 200 level. Please don't design the new program so that I can't graduate. I was unable to transfer to UCONN's BGS program and graduate because of in residence requirements and UCONN does not accept CLEP and I have 33 credits of CLEP. The military encouraged CLEP exams to save time and money as my GI Bill was expiring. I was also unable to transfer to ECSU or SCSU BGS programs because of in residence requirements. It should be easier to transfer among CSUS schools with credits counted as in residence. It is designed like a scam now. Just let me graduate.

Why weren't the negotiations open to ALL members of the bargaining unit to observe? We will reach that contract that you speak of through the voices and activism of faculty and students by speaking truth to power.

This doesn't address the key issue. The Regent's proposal would damage our accreditation and grievously damage the university. Either this is a negotiating tactic (and in bad faith) or Dr. Gates is serious about harming the CSUs.

Draconian cuts, larger class sizes, less time for faculty to work with students, attacks on academic freedom, and bloated and top-heavy centralized administration. That is how CSCU administration puts "equity at the center"
@cindys37933 жыл бұрын
If equity is at the center, then why does the Board want me to have less time to support my students and fewer resources to provide them with a cutting-edge , relevant UNIVERSITY education?
