@@ashdosen i get that! I'm a small starting creator myself. If i could think of anything to improve upon i would have had the balance of drums vs other instruments a little different in the last song. It may be a stylistic choice but at least from my speakers the drums were louder than everything else leaving the guitars to the background a little bit. Nothing big, just something to keep in mind for future mixing. Keep it up guys! I really liked this.
@ashdosen6 күн бұрын
@reme7903 awesome! That's not the first time I've heard about the drums being very present in a mix. I think I do it deliberately just because I love the sound of drums and I always prioritise it over the guitars mostly for myself. You aren't wrong though and I appreciate your analysis 😍 And I love layering guitar parts and kind of hiding parts by making them harder to heard on the first listen but the more u listen the more u realise is there and all that stuff. Because I don't have to try and fit vocals in there, I feel like the drums can be a bit louder and they sort of take that spot. Going to check all Ur stuff too 🥰 Thanks again and happy 2025 and to more music!
@reme79036 күн бұрын
@@ashdosen alright as long as it's deliberate there's nothing wrong with having a wider dynamic range.👍

@@ashdosen and as for my own stuff it's quite diverse in it's styles. Lately I've been learning to make more electronic music but I'm planning to make some more rock stuff soon. Most of the older stuff is more demo like in quality. I've been having alot of mental health struggles lately but am getting back to it.

Not bad, how’d you make this?
@ashdosen3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate. It took ages. I loaded in the original track and did like a sound collage over the top starting with guitars then bass then drums with the intention of having it instrumental then decided to give the vocals a go 😅. Then deleted the original track and that's what I was left with.
@vicente87053 жыл бұрын
@@ashdosen that’s pretty impressive, it’s comforting to know that such artistic treasure can always be revisited and redone
@ashdosen3 жыл бұрын
@@vicente8705 thanks that means alot. I am an artist first and foremost, and musician second to that.. the album is incredibly complex and I wanted to take it apart and put it back together in my own way. Basically I just broke it down into sections I played on repeat and played over the top until I felt like it was close enough to move to the next part. Some parts took me ages to complete, other parts were easy to do. I feel like I understand the album more and can enjoy it's content on a different level now. It was a massive task doing it on my own and it's an homage to the originality of the original 😆. I have done the whole album as instrumental but haven't finished vocals just yet... I've got to do it when no one is around because, who wants to hear me singing Pena over and over til I get it close enough 😂😂😂🤙
